I bought my car from SMYTHE and it was a great experience. I unfortunately did not have a good experience from the service department. It took 25 minutes to check me in and get my loaner car. I was told that I needed to “top off” the tank when I returned it, as if it were a car rental location. When I got in the car, I noticed the the tank was not full - about 1/8 of a tank low. I drove the car to my home and back which was approximately 14 miles. When I returned to the dealer to pick up my car, my service contact look over the loaner and told me that I need to take it to a gas station and top of the tank. I couldn’t believe it! If he looked at the mileage, he would have noted that I barely drove the car. Extremely poor customer service and I am very disappointed. I would not return to SMYTHE except for the fact that I pre-purchased the service. I did have them wash and vacuum my car, which I was charged $40. I believe that many higher end dealerships over this service for free. Bottom line, I will never have any service completed at SMYTHE other than what I have already pre-purchased. I gave friendliness 3 stars only because a service department employee by the name of Tina Dewald who was extremely kind and spoke with me while during the long check in process. Thank you Tina.
