Somersworth Nissan is a joke, Plain and simple. I came to look at more than one but couldn’t make it passed the 10 foot walk up on one before I knew I didn’t want it. The one we settled on showed me Nissans true colors I just how they try to get one over on you. The first thing was the radio didn’t work in the car but the radio also controlled the back up camera and most interior vehicle settings so we couldn’t try any of that, not a crazy deal but something that was never mentioned in the week that they held my deposit before viewing. Then I had them put it on a lift and what a joke that was! They made me wait over 40 min telling me it would just be a second only to see oil all over the ground because they never changed the oil like they said they did during there “inspection”. Their “inspections” are a joke, I found a broken spring on the back of the car that by LAW they are required to fix when I found that the person representing themselves as the “owner” gave me an attitude and said they do everything for inspection and they would take care of it but was very demeaning. This day they made me an hour late for leaving because they told me my deposit was only good for 1 more day and if I didn’t do some of the paperwork I’d loose the car but we couldn’t do paperwork in full because they did such a poor job looking over the car 🚘 spent 3 hours there just to leave with nothing and letting them have the car for another week but the got money upfront. Fast forward to the next week car is supposed to be ready by Monday- Tuesday it wasn’t ready until Friday night. Come to pick up the car Saturday, they put in a junk yard radio and left it dirty and gross and never programmed leaving it useless so I had to take it to vw for that. When I went to leave the car pulled hard and tire lights came on drove right back to have them run me around for another 40 min telling me they’d call on Monday with an answer. I brought the car to an independent and asked them to check alignment. They never completed the alignment after the suspension work even after multiple people told me they did and when vw looked at the car they found a module to be faulty but because it isn’t actively making things I use to not work Nissan won’t even consider it to exhaust even tho it could stop the whole dash from working. Nissan management team told me that they would cut a check for the alignment and paid vw for the radio but then I had to make 5 phone calls and wait weeks for said check. The service department talked poorly about sales and sales talked poorly about service; even if you don’t buy a car here definitely don’t let them service your car! My salesman Matt seemed new and I knowledgeable but ultimately didn’t seem to be a bad guy just new. Manager 1 Ric seemed to be knowledgeable about things but was put in and out of our situation Manager 2 Trevor was there from the minute I showed up but switched on and out with Ric My biggest issues with the managers was the lack of communication while waiting for repairs, lack of internal communication, and just for making me chase them to do the simple things they said they would. Like when Trevor told me the car was all set to pick up and then he told me later oh we will cut a check no problem then he never did and left for 1.5 weeks for vacation so then Ric stepped back in requiring more info before finally cutting a check; not to worry I paid $123 for an alignment they only felt the need to write the check for $100. Finance manager Molly was extremely rude to my wife acting as tho she wasn’t qualified to read the loan papers even tho she was the one financially responsible for this vehicle. And the warranty offers just wouldn’t stop I can only say no nicely so many times but if you are inclined to get one j More

After signing all the paperwork, running my credit, taking a deposit, and putting it on my insurance, they then came out and said, nope nevermind you can't take it today and that's final. Worst bait and switch I've ever seen, walked out. I will now need to deal with weeks of disputes to have the inquiry come off my credit report because they misled me into signing paperwork. Stay away at all costs. More

We’ve bought 3 cars from here in the last 5 years and they have been nothing but great at helping us obtain a car with a fair price. Kyle our sales guy this time was fantastic and we got a great deal on they have been nothing but great at helping us obtain a car with a fair price. Kyle our sales guy this time was fantastic and we got a great deal on what we were looking for and Molly who helped with all that paperwork made it very simple and easy to understand. Not only have I bought 3 cars from here I take my work vehicle here for service and the amount of help I get with that is also amazing. I feel like a friend here not just a customer. I’m sure I’ll be back for another car sometime soon. More
Kyle at the dealership told us it was a done deal needed $500 down for the payment, we even told him about the repo about the car. He said that was fine. He showed us a paper with a few down payment optio $500 down for the payment, we even told him about the repo about the car. He said that was fine. He showed us a paper with a few down payment options in the monthly prices so we choosed , if we have that paper on both of our phones , he said OK I will do an E sign with you tomorrow and I'll give an appointment and have you come in to sign in person., so Monday evening my son was supposed to go in and sign, he said there was a few things that needed to be done on the vehicle. He would get right on top of that immediately that to be top priority., Sunday morning woke up. This is after they ran the credit Saturday. They ran the credit seven more times my phone was going berserk, because all my credit goes over my phone immediately, Get an email saying sorry your down payment is going to be 3500., the bank that we was going through backed out of it, that's what he said, oh and by the way, they still have the $500 so let's see about this, so if anybody's going to this dealership, stay away from this guy , because he is not honest and I think this dealership is shady. That was very wrong to do that. You don't sit there and tell people yet it's a done deal come in and sign paperwork the following day , and then email somebody saying they want thousands more down, thanks Tammy jones , and I'm not even ashamed to put my name, More
🚨 BUYER BEWARE: SOMERSWORTH NISSAN 🚨 I don’t usually post things like this, but people deserve to know what kind of service they’re getting before buying a car. Just WEEKS after buying a used vehicle post things like this, but people deserve to know what kind of service they’re getting before buying a car. Just WEEKS after buying a used vehicle from this dealership - literally the second time my daughter drove it - the check engine light came on. We brought it back expecting them to stand behind what they just sold us. Instead, they tried to charge over $400 to replace a purge valve… a problem that very likely existed before the sale. After pushing back, they magically revised the estimate to $250 “for the part” stating they would cover the labor. Funny thing is… when I checked out, the part was clearly listed at a lower cost than that on their screen. But fine - we accepted the $250 because we just wanted the car fixed. 💥 Fast-forward less than two weeks… the check engine light is back on. Very likely the same issue, same symptoms - they reset the check engine light when we were there and it takes 50–100 miles to return after being reset. When I reached out, the dealership’s response? Since the car is now outside their 30-day window, they “can’t offer any discount.” Not only will they NOT stand behind their own repair, they now want $179 to plug the car in to diagnose what’s wrong… again. This is absolutely unacceptable and it's too bad, because my daighter loves the car. Somersworth Nissan does not stand behind the cars they sell, does not honor fair service practices, and does not value repeat customers. We will NOT be returning; not for service, and not when we are in the market for another vehicle. If you’re considering buying a car, there are plenty of other dealerships in the area that will stand behind what they sell. More
Experience is overall very good, they were great at listening to my needs and wants. Worked well with me as a first time buyer. They didn’t try to over sell anything to me and were very polite. listening to my needs and wants. Worked well with me as a first time buyer. Bought a car at the dealership. After a mid-communication on the test drive, no complaints. Friendly, up front price, no surprises with all of the steps. Good job! Entire place is horrible. "Service" is a joke, a scam taking money from innocent people. I went 12/24 to have brakes done. They either don't know how to do a brake job because "Service" is a joke, a scam taking money from innocent people. I went 12/24 to have brakes done. They either don't know how to do a brake job because grease are all over my front brakes. They drenched grease on it that almost a yr later my front brakes squeak. I went to try to get it resolved Travis went in my face him and the new service manager Lynda Cutter kicked my daughter out..yes, you read that right. As I looked into it and the receipts they charged me for things I never knew I was getting done on my car. How many Rotars do you need? Dec, March, April.. new Rotars..yet problem wasn't fixed. These people charge for "environment fees" they told me my brakes were the lower control arm. I was in there they told another customer the same thing..it was my brakes drenched in grease...so much that it can't pass inspection. The service director Lynda told me the brakes were the back up camera. These people have zero respect for you. I have paid around 1k at Nissan. A 2nd opinion, getting them done. Because of Nissan it cost me over 2k. Don't be like me. Nissan needs to take responsibility and pay for what they never did repair and only made worse. More
