Update - I was contacted by Kevin in Finance and was told my loan would be paid off and my down payment would be refunded. When I mentioned and emailed about the payment that was already taken still wit told my loan would be paid off and my down payment would be refunded. When I mentioned and emailed about the payment that was already taken still with no car I was told Lexus financial would refund the payment. as for the car being returned before proceeding that’s not was agreed to. The car was left at Lexus Carlsbad and has been repaired and then offered for sale again through Lexus South Bay. I wrote and asked how is it possible to offer and sell a car that is currently being financed. I took a screen shot and the next day the car was removed from the website. Another shady move in my opinion more dishonesty. I was email by Danny Hashimoto, with the title document for my trades in car and told I need to go to dmv or aaa to re-register to put my car back into my name. I replied to his email with more questions and have not been responded to again. There a still unresolved issues. The loan still needs to be rewound. Am on the hook for it and paying for a car that I do not have but do not have and was turned back over and signed for three weeks ago per what we agreed to. The loan payment that I paid on 10/10 needs to be refunded. I need to be reimbursed for the rain and Lyft rides necessary to sign paperwork to rewind this mess and retrieve my car. is there some reason I am being ignored and theses things are yet to be resolved and emails not responded to? What am I being treated as if you are doing me a favor when actually it is entirely your wrong doing by selling a car with the mechanical issues supposedly having passed your inspection prior. The car was not sedate to drive yet I jumped through hoops to help make this right. I am at my wits end and not getting anywhere and need help. Debra More
They don’t deserve a single star. Sold me a car that was unsafe to drive. Took to another dealership for inspection after notifying South Bay Lexus that the car was leaking puddles of oil and was not shifting without jerking, they said to bring it in to have a look. I didn't feel safe driving it, took it to independent mechanic was told give it back, took it to another dealership for inspection, found cracked dog bone engine mount, blown head gaskets, strut issues, and unknown transmission issues, I didn't want to pay an additional 200 for further diagnostics. South Bay Lexus in Torrance agreed to reverse the deal but have yet to return my down payment or cancel my loan, with the first payment already posted. I am paying for a car I do not have that I left as instructed by South Bay with Carlsbad Lexus where the inspections were done after purchasing. I had to take a train and lyft rides to sign paperwork over 80 miles away to retrieve the car I traded, but still not fulfilled what we agreed on. I called Lexus financial to confirm, the loan is till active. Called brand engagement and was given a case number but nothing has resulted.
