My experience was amazing from beginning to end. I fell in love with the Cordolla Sport 2014, and they had the color I wanted. Plus, they worked really hard to give me a great deal on my car. Even though I just bought a car this weekend, it's not my first time at this dealer. Mikey Wiliams from service is a pleasure to deal with. Very professional and actually cares that you're waiting for your car! I asked Mikey to refer me to a good salesperson and he directed me toward Daniel Merejildo. We test drove a few cars until I decided that I'd like a Corolla S. Very knowledgeable and helpful guy, here. Now comes the finance department. That part is never fun because the dealer and the customer want to both get away scot-free but it never happens. There's always a tug of war to be had. When it was all said and done, they gave me a decent fair-market price for my trade-in car and a decent price for the new car. The price could've still been better (being upside down or not), but I was at the dealer for 4 hours already and was tired of fighting. They worked the numbers, worked them again and worked them some more. To get the deal I did, I had to use their financing- even though my bank offered up a 1.59% better rate. Hence the 3 stars. After the car was delivered, Roland showed me how everything worked and was helpful. I was able to use all of the gadgets and drive the car home. However, once I got home I realized that they had not given me the vehicle registration in my paperwork. So I had to go back and retrieve it. There's where the star dock from customer service came from. All in all, a decent deal, though I did spend 6 hours at the dealer. More
I came to South Dade Toyota after someone on the Turnpike totaled my Corolla. I got out with the new, redesigned Corolla. George and Asbert were very helpful. After Asbert had all the papers ready, he explained them carefully, answering all my questions, before I signed. I got a fair price (I had checked Consumer Reports). Asbert explained the car and went out of his way to program the car's Bluetooth technology with my cell phone (I didn't have that before - it's a great, necessary feature!!). A young lady (I regret I don't remember her name, as I was busy at work) called to make sure my experience was satisfactory; she advised me to make an appointment when I need maintenance, to make sure I get taken care of in less time, and asked me to call if I had any questions about anything. I went to South Dade Toyota after work, and was TOTALLY unprepared. I knew what I wanted, but it was looking to be more than I could afford. Manuel worked with me, and answered every question I had, and unprepared. I knew what I wanted, but it was looking to be more than I could afford. Manuel worked with me, and answered every question I had, and several I didn't know to ask. Though it took a while, I was never left alone, and was informed EVERY step of the way. The sales manager even came up to me and offered his apology, unsolicited, stating "I see you have been here for a while, and I apologize, we will take care of you". This was way more than I have ever experienced at a car dealer. We ran the numbers and it was more than I was expecting, and could afford, we tried everything to make it work, unsuccessfully. Then in a completely unprecedented effort on everyone's part, a slightly cheaper model was found, in a different color (which I liked more actually). More numbers were ran and we got me taken care of. HOWEVER, that was STILL not enough service for these amazing people. Manuel, who was off about 5 HOURS ago at this time. TOOK me to the new car and proceeded to explain the differences to me to ENSURE I knew and understood why it was less expensive and that it SATISFIED me. ALL in ALL, there aren't numbers to rate my experience high enough for the service I received: Manuel Rodriguez, Bismark Colombiet, Tania ? , and the sales manager (who's name I can't remember at this time), all deserve at least an 11 on a scale of 1 to 5. I have already started telling people. More
I drive a 2005 Toyota Tacoma and always have it serviced at South Dade Toyota. My truck was recently vandalized and my tailgate was stolen. When I took my truck into South Dade Toyota to have the tailgate o at South Dade Toyota. My truck was recently vandalized and my tailgate was stolen. When I took my truck into South Dade Toyota to have the tailgate ordered and replaced, my nerves were raw and I was frazzled about the damage that was done to my beloved truck. I met "Tito" (Mr. Asterio Monteagudo) on that date and he kindly listened to my concerns about the safety of my truck and my rants against the "thieving heathens" who had vandalized it. He was very sympathetic and shared with me solutions for keeping my tailgate safe in the future. He ordered the new tailgate and when it arrived, his crew painted it perfectly and installed it on my truck. However, Tito and his crew did not stop there. I had purchased a "gatekeeper" and a "pop 'n lock" to prevent future theft and Tito had his crew install them so that I wouldn't worry about another tailgate theft once I drove my truck away from the collision center. In addition to those things, Tito noticed that my truck wasn't starting properly and he offered to test my battery for me. My battery had not been replaced since I bought my truck in 2005 and Tito received a "replace battery" reading. When he informed me of the results, I told him that I would take my truck to the service department after his crew had finished with the tailgate. Tito informed me that HE would replace the battery for me and after he accompanied me to the service center so that I could purchase a new battery, he hand carried it back to the collision center himself and installed it into my truck so that I would not have to wait an hour or more at the service center to have it installed. Although I have met other nice employees at South Dade Toyota, I have NEVER had the level of service that was provided by Tito and his crew. I know that they went far above and beyond what they were required to do for me and my truck and I am more grateful for the excellent service that they provided and for their kindnesses, than I can express here. I've been going to South-Dade Toyota since summer of 2006 (when it used to be called Armstrong Toyota). Service Advisers Craig (and Mike) are always knowledgeable and willing to explain what's wrong. After running the diagnostic test three times it came up fine so I did not have to pay for a new battery. My most recent experience was with an expensive part that should not have failed. When I called Toyota Corporate, I got a reduction on a portion of the price for the replacement part. All in all they will treat you fairly. More
