After two hours waiting for a double priced oil change that I had an appointment for, you would think that they would fix the small nail hole in my ti After two hours waiting for a double priced oil change that I had an appointment for, you would think that they would fix the small nail hole in my tire rather than make me go next door to Robertson to get it done for free... paid cash for 7 new Honda’s over the years, these guys can suck eggs... just gotta have $25 for a free service... no thanks, never again going to burn a total of 3 hours on this mistake at least - CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! So disappointing Two stars is only because I’ve enjoyed the service department, sales is a ZERO! I have bought many Honda products in my lifetime, mostly from a dealer Two stars is only because I’ve enjoyed the service department, sales is a ZERO! I have bought many Honda products in my lifetime, mostly from a dealership in another state, and have ALWAYS been treated wonderfully. Not the case here. This was my third visit to South Pointe to purchase a vehicle. The first time was so bad I left and bought a 2014 Accord from another dealer. Vowing to never buy from South Pointe, I decided to test drive a 2017 CR-V there, but go back to the other dealership where I bought the Accord to purchase. Surprisingly, I liked my salesman, the place seemed to have stepped up their game, so I purchased from South Pointe. I went back again to purchase a new Pilot...bad idea!!!! First I find it interesting my salesman’s name isn’t even on the list of sales people to choose from on this site since he told me he had sold 200 cars last year and 130 this year. In a nutshell, this was the worst buying experience of my life, and I’ve bought many vehicles. My salesman was apathetic. The managers seemed disinterested in working with me, finance was efficient but overall indifferent. On delivery there was NO orientation to the vehicle. I was handed the keys and told “here you go.” Not even a handshake and a thank you. They forced me to write a check for the vehicle awaiting the wire transfer of funds, but 8 days later I had to call to find out what happened to my check because I had received confirmation days earlier of the money transfer but not from the dealership. Very careless way of handling finances and my $40,000.00 check. I tried reaching out to the GM, voice mail is full and no response to emails. The only time anyone really seemed to give a rip about my buying experience is when I’d had my fill and was ready to back out of the deal. Then all of a sudden I get a kiss up call. After all, they don’t want to lose my business. Overall, this place seems pretty hit or miss. If you get good service, consider yourself lucky. If you don’t, I wouldn’t be surprised. More

no games or surprises, upfront pricing, Excellent Dealer! I had reached out to a number of dealerships over the past three weeks after losing my vehicle in the floods here. I did a lot of research and knew ex I had reached out to a number of dealerships over the past three weeks after losing my vehicle in the floods here. I did a lot of research and knew exactly what model, trim, and transmission I wanted. I knew what a fair price range would be for what I was after. And South Pointe Honda was the only dealership that helped me get exactly what I wanted (and for less than all the other actual out-of-door quotes) and didn’t try to play games or manipulate me into something before or after getting me to the dealership. There were no surprises -- they were upfront about everything pricing-wise and willing to work things out with me over the phone and email before I rented a vehicle for the drive there. Steve the sales manager and Bryan my salesman were excellent. They really went the extra mile for me explaining things and answering my questions and made it the single best car buying experience I’ve had over 21 years of vehicle ownership. The meeting with finance/signing process only took about 30 minutes. They also answered all of my questions and allowed me time to calculate and read through things. There was zero drama and no pressure over financing or the various extended warranties and things. It was explained and offered, and my decisions were respected. Many car dealerships might all be the same, but South Pointe was my unicorn out there after 2.5 weeks of other dealerships. Do your research, ask questions, and see for yourself. If you are in the market for a Honda and even remotely in striking distance of Tulsa (or not, I bet they could deliver), I can highly recommend checking them out and doing business with them. More
Horrible customer service I live in Grove Ok 90 minutes from Tulsa. Made a Saturday 7:30 appointment to repair tire sensors. By 11:30 they had not even started the repair and I live in Grove Ok 90 minutes from Tulsa. Made a Saturday 7:30 appointment to repair tire sensors. By 11:30 they had not even started the repair and they hoped to have it completed late afternoon. Horrible communication. I called Don Carlton Honda and they had the parts. Left Southpoint furious and took my CR-V to Don Carlton. One hour later it was fixed. I will never use Southpoint service again. No way to treat a customer who has purchased 2 Honda’s from this dealership. More
