Don't appreciate getting lectured by Drew. When working on a car deal we were not happy with the trade in quoted to us. Led to believe right up through financing we were going to get 2,000 m When working on a car deal we were not happy with the trade in quoted to us. Led to believe right up through financing we were going to get 2,000 more than what showed up on paper. We already had 1 dealership giving us the trade amount we wanted. We were accepting FAIR value despite the condition being GOOD. They were running our credit before providing us the numbers on paper. When asked to see the numbers in writing I was questioned on what it was I wanted to see and why! (Had to instruct them I wanted to see sales price, minus the trade, plus tax, etc) Told my husband they were acting fishy about the trade amount. We told the sales guy no deal. Drew - his manager calls me and lectures me for 10 minutes straight on how they need to "keep the lights on, and how we mistreated his sales guy" He would not let us get a word in edgewise. Told Drew I would not do a deal with someone who talks to their potential customers the way he spoke to me and he could offer me more and I wouldn't take it after listening to his rant. We walked. The sales guy called back 24 hours later to give us the trade in amount we requested. No. I will would not take that or even more money to deal with a dealership that lectures the customer. More
