I was quite disappointed with the lack of action on the company’s part around their messaging on being able to go into any Southern Acura for a quick oil change. I reside in Richmond and needed an oil chan company’s part around their messaging on being able to go into any Southern Acura for a quick oil change. I reside in Richmond and needed an oil change and contacted the Newport News Service Center and had bright recording explaining their quick service on oil change. I called the service center twice to ensure that it was the case and no answer. Against my better judgement I headed to the service center and once I arrived was greeted with a grunt or a look of disappointment that I had shown up. When I began to ask about getting an oil change I was immediately shut down by the rep. saying that they were fully booked and cannot accept any appointments and when I attempted to explain that I received details on express oil change he quickly said he knows that it says that as a recording and said they do not have that only in the VA Beach location. I purchased my vehicle at this location and was informed of my oil services but now I will have to get my oil changed and pay out of pocket since their next availability was not until 2 weeks out. I am not upset at the representative but the situation that if the recording is not true then it should be removed and if you cannot remove the recording then phone calls should always be answered because I drove from Richmond and wasted my time, gas and wasted your reps time who seemed annoyed by this request. Hopefully, it has since been fixed or actually delivers the promise in the recording. Thank you for listening. More
