It is impossible to reach a service advisor once my car has been dropped off. Calls roll to the remote schedulers who seemingly have no ability to contact service advisors. I had a scheduled appointment yesterday at 9:30 AM, and my vehicle was not available until after 4:00 PM, despite the service being a routine oil change. The lack of communication regarding the initial sta my vehicle was not available until after 4:00 PM, despite the service being a routine oil change. The lack of communication regarding the initial staff shortage, which would have adjusted my expectations for vehicle readiness, was unsatisfactory. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, proactive communication with customers is essential to allow them to plan their day accordingly. I was just told that my lifetime oil change and lifetime inspections were cancelled. I do not know if that is legal since I have a contract agreement when I purchased my GMC Truck new at the facility. Eve inspections were cancelled. I would like to see improvement on the automated phone system. I could not get through to confirm or pick up my vehicle or to see if it were ready.. I was not informed or aware that you all had remodeled and did not clearly know where the new service center was at or that you now have a rental area. I had been going there for over 25 years was not informed or aware there was a change or renovation. Perhaps it would have been nice to send a message via email to let us know of the changes. Not a big deal, but it caught me by surprise. The cashier‘s desk was eliminated, but yet the service advisors are now responsible to collect the money. Not sure if that will be efficient. On a positive note, my state inspection and oil change was completed as promised. It was nice that you all sent a message that it was ready for pick up. I was not aware you had sent a voice message and did not think to check my voicemail. I was expecting a text message like you had done in the past. When I called to try to find out your AI attendant had too many prompts and sent me to the wrong department so I had to ask for Advisor when it connected me. Then your receptionist had to leave a message to the advisor and then the advisor was opposed to call me. He then called and left a message. More
