This can’t be representative of dealership of this size practicing this type of unprofessionalism and “customer service”. We have called AND visited repeatedly and left with promises to respond back and update , while leaving the dealership left with no definitive explanations, timeframes or substantial information about the status of our vehicle. This is deplorable. We look forward to speaking to the service manager or some further dealership leadership in the next 24 hrs. The customer service at this dealership has to be addressed! More
I had my truck looked at for a coolant leak and a bad headlight after they looked at it my truck magically didn’t work. I spent 2,000 to get those things fixed. One day I was told it was an electrical is headlight after they looked at it my truck magically didn’t work. I spent 2,000 to get those things fixed. One day I was told it was an electrical issue and my transmission was fine, the very next day I was told it was the transmission. I took it to another Chevy dealership for service and they sat on my truck also they didn’t look at it at the scheduled service time. Needless to say after my truck was touched here my truck didn’t work in Drive it’s a 2016 Chevy under 80,000 miles. I had to trade in my truck and I lost $2,000. Never buying a Chevy again awful service and I never got a precise diagnosis. More
Hello, today's service on my 2017 Chevy Colorado was the worst I have experienced. I am having some anxiety over if the oil change was even done. The technician did not reset the oil gage. He didn't put a new oil change reminder sticker on the windshield. The tire pressure was the same as when I brought it in, the fluids were not topped off, He left the trash in the truck. You all have lowered your standards. I even had to go to the parking lot to pick up my vehicle, you use to bring the vehicle back into the warm bay area for your customers convenience. I will definitely take this higher. There are other concerns that I am investigating that transpired during my visit. More
Ray was the worst service advisor I have ever dealt with. Took my truck in and was told, we will call you in a couple hours, but never heard anything. We had a lot of work done and the check engine light came back on before we got home… took it back in and again, had to constantly check in after days of no communication, he always had an excuse as to why something had not been done. Come to find out, I need a new transmission after already spending 5k during the first visit. I know the transmission didn’t suddenly go bad on my drive home, why wasn’t I told about the transmission in the first visit? I tried to call the service manager but they were busy and it’s been over a week and I still haven’t been called back. I will never take a vehicle to Hall again and Ray is terrible at customer service. More
Dealership does not keep you informed about your car. YoMy vehicle was serviced at Hall on Jan 28 for an ongoing check engine light that would randomly flash and hard transmission shifting (that seem to go hand in hand). My vehicle was taken into Hall Ch ongoing check engine light that would randomly flash and hard transmission shifting (that seem to go hand in hand). My vehicle was taken into Hall Chesapeake on Dec 22 , a multi-point inspection was conducted and it was determined that the vehicle's spark plugs were misfiring. Hall recommended I have spark plugs and wires replaced. I was also told that I needed to have transmission fluid replaced, fuel system flushed and brake fluid replaced however those fluids were in fair condition and I neglected to have fluids replaced as that was not the main concern when the vehicle was taken into the shop (for check engine light and hard transmission shift). I took the vehicle back to get serviced on Jan 28, and the spark plugs and wires were replaced. A week after having the vehicle serviced I drove the vehicle to Maryland. While driving I noticed the transmission was still shifting hard at times. The exact same issue I was having before I paid the dealership $400 plus dollars to have fixed. Once I returned home from my road trip I called Mr. Jones of Hall Chevrolet Chesapeake to voice my concern. I explained to him what I was experiencing with my vehicle that I just got out of the shop. I told him that my transmission is still shifting hard. His reply was I didn’t get all of the work Hall said was in fair condition done i.e. replace transmission fluids, brake fluid etc hence the reason for still having issues. At no point did Mr. Jones EVER explain to me why I was still experiencing the same issues before paying $400 plus dollars. As Mr. Jones failed to address the issue, he also thought it was clever to mention that I only brought the vehicle in for a check engine light. At that point he made it quite obvious that he didn’t remember talking to me on the phone when I scheduled the service appointment, because he would’ve known I said it was for a check engine light and hard transmission shift. He also failed to pull up the historical documentation with the issues I was experiencing when the vehicle was dropped off to be serviced. So in order to assist Mr. Jones with addressing the issue and retrieving historical documentation, I sent him a copy of a previous email from DEC 17, stating my concern of a check engine light / hard transmission shift. It appears that the information may have gotten lost along the lines, I guess Hall's main concern was to make the check engine light go out and not really address the hard shifting in the transmission. Needless to say I tried to call Mr. Jones yesterday afternoon; left a message and I have yet to receive a call back. I also emailed him again this morning, and no email reply. So here I am out of $400 plus dollars and my vehicle still drives the same as it did when I took it in for service. I guess it’s too much for one to ask for decent customer service at HALL CHEVROLET CHESAPEAKE and it's evident because I have the rough driving Suburban and receipts to show. u have a detailed report about the condition of your vehicle More
Dee Dee was very helpful to me. I needed a new battery and had to have the car the next day for a doctor's appt and no way to get it there and she took care of everything for me.She was kind, considerate, and had to have the car the next day for a doctor's appt and no way to get it there and she took care of everything for me.She was kind, considerate, and helpful and had my car taken care of in a timely manner. The two gentlemen who came and jumped the car battery and and delivered the car back to me were very nice also. One of the reason I will keep going to Hall Chevrolet for both sservice and when I need a new car. More
