For instance, Mr. Baillio gave me a panic attack trying to convince me to buy a warranty by listing the seemingly hundreds of things that could go wrong and what each one costs (but other than almost making me back out of the sale, he was nice). When I finally emerged from the underground Warranty Gauntlet that I had to run, I came up the stairs and out into the blessed sunshine (I had never been happier to see the sun) to find Alannah outside wiping my new (used) car with a damp rag.
