It's been a while since I've bought a car. I've always had a good experience in the past. But since then I was pretty uptight and hesitant. I didnt feel like being prisoner to another car payment. I came home from work and my wife told me about a car she found while surfing the net. I was like.."OK lets go check it out and let me get my daily dose of dissappointment." I went to the Hall Ford dealership and met Jimmie House. He made me and my wife feel at home there and the staff working there were "Professionals of Professionals". I was impressed with the way they work with you to get a good price. AND THEY DID! The sale was explained to me the way I like it....no details were left out..all questions were answered honestly and timely...we drove off the lot with a car that met our needs and my wife cant stay out of....and I wish I can get my turn driving too. This dealership has a great team and you wont be dissappointed! More

So , with no other choice, I had to purchase another vehicle. Now this is my very first experience purchasing a vehicle from a dealer, so naturally I was already nervous going at this alone. I first went in to the dealership and met with Mr. House in July, he made me feel like we had met each other before, very comfortable. He wasn't pushy or arrogant, as I thought car salesman usually are. Mr. House listened to me as a consumer, and found the right car to fit my needs and pricing. Now, my credit isn't great, but Mr.Camron really helped with getting the car to a manageable price. I wasn't quite ready to purchase, so Mr. House encouraged me to think about it and get back to him. Well I did, 1 month later, I came back ready to purchase a car, and again the process was painless. Mr. House and Mr. Camron were still very nice and I even made a new friend... Mr. Mark. I explained to them where my monthly payments would have to be in order to make this work and Mr. Mark came thru. I really appreciate everyone there that helped me with this process. I purchased this car on-line through ebay without actually seeing the car, relying only on the pictures and description reported. When we arrived to pick up the car, we were treated respectfully by professionals who were in the retail sales business and despite buying on an ebay auction, were provided with a 30 day used car warranty and return option. The ride home was 700 miles and we had no problems at all, again attesting to the dealer's assurance of the excellent maintenance history of the car. I've purchased many used cars in the past and this was my first sight unseeen purchase. I approached the auction with trepidation, doing due diligence on the dealer more so than the car itself. I recommend this dealer highly and only wish they were local to me for future purchases. More

I can't say enough good thinks about my experience working with Mark Stanley. As a retired military member, Mark was able to relate to my wife and I... both in the military ourselves. I initially began working with Mark while searching for a new vehicle (F150). Unfortunately for him, the deciciveness that I have to have on the job didn't carry over into my skills as a new car shopper. I wavered back and forth on various options that I wanted/didn't want and visited the dealership multiple times. I'm pretty sure my wife's patience wore out long before Mark's did :-) Even though he was aware that I was also considering purchasing a Dodge Ram, he didn't pressure me, gave me his honest opinions, always made time for me and made me feel as though I was one of his most important customers. Since the dealership didn't have exactly what I was looking for, he researched options at other dealerships and kept me up to date via e-mail and phone in a very hands off way that wasn't annoying or that made me feel pressured. Eventually, I made up my mind on a Ford, but decided to shop for a used vehicle. Mark continued to work with me, and once I FINALLY decided what I wanted; he located a vehicle that surpassed my expectations almost immediately. He worked with me every step of the way and made this the best car buying experience I've ever had. I trust Mark and highly recommend him to future customers. His attitude has given me a very positive impression of the dealership and of the Hall Automotive chain overall. If my job ever brings me back to the area, I'll start and most likely finish here to find the vehicle I'm looking for. More
First met by new sales consultant Cathy. She was quick to meet us out in the "New Car" lot. She immediately introduced herself to us and asked what we had come to look for. We were interested in a Ford to meet us out in the "New Car" lot. She immediately introduced herself to us and asked what we had come to look for. We were interested in a Ford Flex. She was quick to let us inside the vehicle to look at the interior and offered us a test drive. Her trainer, Isa Saunders, came out and introduced himself and got us a key to the vehicle with no hassle. They allowed us to take our time in the vehicle without having a consultant ride with us (great so we can discuss the car freely without influence). Upon returning the car, they brought us into the showroom and we explained we had just started looking for a new car. There was no pressure to buying. He did explain Hall's reputation, financing options, and incentives Ford was offering. Would return to these two and Hall Ford without a doubt! More
On a recent visit to Williamsburg Virginia, I had the misfortune to have my vehicle hit by another while checking into our hotel. It was Friday evening June 25th, when the incident occured. While the damage was not all that extensive, the rear bumper on my vehicle was ripped partially off requireing immediate attention in order to drive it a long distance. Being from out of state and out of country, I soon realized when checking, that Collision repair shops in the Virginia area were closed on Saturday morning. We found our way to an AAA depot on Saturday morning approx 11:00 am, in Newport News. The gentleman suggested that I take my vehicle to Hall Body shop. Being a Ford dealership and my vehicle a Ford Escape I felt a hopeful relief that things were turning around. We arrived at Halls at 11:40 or so that morning and had the pleasure to speak with Ron Mendenhall, Assistant manager of your Body/Paint shop. Ron had a look at the damage and while the shop was open for estimates only, Ron said not to worry, he would try to get us patched up enough to make the rest of our trip and back to Canada. While we waited in the comfortable air conditioned waiting area, Ron spent appox 20 minutes out in the hot sun to make the temporary repair. My wife and I are very grateful for the wonderful customer service provided by Ron Mendenhall and extend a special Thanks for helping to get us on our way until we could get back to Canada and have the vehicle repaired.
