Friendly, willing to listen I did a lot of research before I went in, I knew what I wanted, and the model I requested doesn't offer any "available features," so it was easy for t I did a lot of research before I went in, I knew what I wanted, and the model I requested doesn't offer any "available features," so it was easy for the salesman to grab the right car and have it ready for me. I crushed some numbers, applied rebates for VW loyalty and military veteran, and threw some numbers to the saleman. The manager couldn't get his math to match mine (~$24) but my salesman handled it well and I am pleased with the outcome. My father has been selling cars and managing dealerships for over 30 years. When I told the "product pusher" she politely finished her spiel, but didn't force the issue when I declined. The finance guy was great, very friendly despite the fact that we were there until nearly 9pm on a drizzly Friday. We brought our own financing so he had us in and out with a phone call to the bank. Note:. Usually a dealer washes and the car and fills the tank. My car was delivered unwashed, but it was raining so I don't really fault them for this. If you go on a dry day make sure they wash your car! More
