Replacement of horn ring When the replacement horn ring was received it was discovered that the air bag attached to the assembly was the one that had been recalled. The updated air bag had to be paired with the horn ring. This appears to be a case of the manufacturer not purging his stock of replacement parts. It may be an oversight or a case of attempting to save a few pennies. In any event, I was placed at risk of continuing my use of a vehicle that had the recalled air bag replaced. This recall is a serious matter: I was, if not for the attentive eye of the technician, placed at serious risk of life and limb. The stock needs to be purged at the very least. More
