Honest review here- Be careful with this dealership. They are there to cheat you. We went to buy two cars. Salesman charlie was okay but finance guy sneaks so many unwanted things in your contract. Next day when we knew they sneaked so many unwanted items we went back. They removed some of them. They didn’t remove Crap product lojack still which they charged us without authorization. You have to literally see and read every single page and fine prints before you sign any papers because what they say and what they make you sign is different. They just tell you monthly payment so make sure you have calculators to know how much interest and what items they are sneaking. My lojack is still not working but had to pay. This is my 7th car I trade in after 3-4 years always. I will never go to southern and never recommend it to anybody. Another interesting thing they sold me car which had 500 miles already hmm new car. Please please If you guys are buying car go other dealership who treat you good. Don’t fall for that crap place. They do shady business. Very Shady. If you don’t believe me after reading these comments you will trust me after getting ripped up from this Southern dealership. More
Went into Dealership today with all intentions to purchase a used vehicle for our daughter. The first thing the salesman informed us about was all cars were equipped with some type of window etching purchase a used vehicle for our daughter. The first thing the salesman informed us about was all cars were equipped with some type of window etching and gps tracking at a expense to the buyer of $1200 on top of the car price. Never in the 50 years of buying cars had I ever heard of this. My advice is to shop elsewhere to where the buyer has a choice. No longer shopping at any Southern dealerships. More

My husband and I were looking for a used Jeep for me. I have wanted one for over 20 years. We found exactly what I was looking for an I fell in love with the vehicle. We heard the price and it was $5,000.0 have wanted one for over 20 years. We found exactly what I was looking for an I fell in love with the vehicle. We heard the price and it was $5,000.00 over what we wanted to pay. My husband came up in our offer by $2,000.00. We were asked if they could come down to that price then would we buy it today? (This was Sunday). We said we needed to go home and think about it (this is a lot of money that we have worked YEARS to save and we needed to consider it thoroughly). We waited until Tuesday to call back. We offered a different trade in as my husband is going to use my old vehicle to drive to and from work and let me drive the safer, newer one. He also came up $500.00 more dollars to get our offer within $2,500.00. The other trade in we offered was not accepted so we RE-offered the original trade in. This was also refused. The salesman REFUSED to come down even a PENNY on the price. My husband's last offer was within $2,000.00 of the asking price (out the door). The salesman REFUSED to budge and then hung up before my husband was finished talking. This was a highly offensive and rude interaction we had with this salesman. I was very hurt that the salesman would not even come down a penny. He did not even offer to show us something similar that was close to our price range. We were left to feel like we did not matter because we did not have enough money. We will NEVER come back to this dealership, nor will we refer anyone here. As a matter of fact, we will steer people away from this dealership. *If it was possible to leave no stars I would have!* More
The services department price gouges to the point of fraud!!! I had a small plastics piece come off of my car and requested a quote for the part and labor. The service team member state that they discon fraud!!! I had a small plastics piece come off of my car and requested a quote for the part and labor. The service team member state that they discontinued making for that style of part for my car. The new style was 160.00 for the part and that I should by 2. The labor would be 300.00. In 1 minute in the waiting area I found the exact part on Carparts.com for 44.95 and my husband placed it with no tools. This type of markup and price gouging is disgusting, deplorable and the reason why the auto service industry is one of the Most mistrusted. I will never go her again. I plan on sharing my experience with everyone in the NAVY stationed in Hampton Roads More

Southern Volkswagen is in Chesapeake near my home and has a wide range of vehicles to look at and test drive. After giving the service department a 1 star review about my Touareg which they had for 2wks, the engine had blown out because of something they had not done properly on the filter which led to a build up of my Touareg which they had for 2wks, the engine had blown out because of something they had not done properly on the filter which led to a build up of moisture in the engine and that is what caused the engine failure. I did not receive a courtesy call, neither did the service department return my numerous calls or even a loaner, so that's when i did the review and i finally got a call the following morning after doing the review, to pick up a loaner but thanks to Matt Seyfert who gave me a V.I.P. treatment and Catalina Dizon who took me under her wing like a mother bird, they were very friendly and professional with great attitudes and very thorough, they did not rest until i was satisfied and able to drive away in a brand new Tiguan. Thanks also to Abigail Rocklin who worked with me really well. More
