My experience with Space Coast Honda was one of the biggest wastes of time I’ve ever had at a dealership. My wife and I are shopping for a new Honda Pilot in Modern Steel Metallic. I was already working with another Central Florida Honda dealership and had both a written quote and a text message confirming their out-the-door price. I was contacted by Elle Terry, who told me that if I came in by 6:00 PM, Space Coast Honda would beat my deal. She also assured me that even though they didn’t have the color we wanted in stock, they could get it the same day. She explained they were behind their sales quota for the week and were motivated to earn our business. I honestly didn’t want to make the trip. It was a 40-minute drive, I was tired after work, and I already had a great deal in hand. Then a female sales manager called my wife and me and doubled down on the promises. She assured us they would beat the price and have us in and out in 90 minutes or less. Against my better judgment, we went. After arriving, we sat there for about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We were so frustrated that we were on the verge of walking out. When they finally brought over the offer sheet, I couldn’t believe it. Their “better” offer was more than $4,000 higher than the out-the-door price I had already received from another Honda dealership. So what was the point of all the phone calls and promises? Why tell a customer you’ll beat a written offer if you have absolutely no intention of doing so? It felt like nothing more than a bait-and-switch tactic to get us into the showroom, hoping we’d ignore the numbers after investing the time to drive there. Instead, they wasted nearly an hour and a half of our evening, not including the 80-minute round-trip drive. As someone who bought my very first car from this dealership years ago, I expected honesty and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling manipulated and disappointed. If you value your time, get everything in writing before stepping foot into this dealership—and even then, I’d think twice. There are other Honda dealers in Central Florida that actually honor their word and don’t make empty promises just to get customers through the door. More

****DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO BUSINESS AT SPACE COAST HONDA*** I am a 100% Disabled Veteran who purchased a vehicle from there in August. I was promised verbally and in writing by CASSIE HERNANDEZ (Sales associate) an OUT THE DOOR price of 31,000....OF COURSE when I get there EVERYONE has amnesia and suddenly I dont qualify for my military discount anymore...and my 31000 OTD turned into over 38000 SMFH ****CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH**** I however had already promised my brother he could have my old car because he desperately needed a vehicle... So I went ahead with the purchase thinking the worst was over.... I WAS WRONG.... The finance office is where the REAL scams take place.. DARIUS DAUGHTRY who works in finance then told me i no longer qualified for a loyalty discount EVEN THOUGH I HAD PURCHASED MY LAST HONDA FROM SPACE COAST HONDA In 2020 smh.... he said it wasn't available in Florida .....TOTAL LIE.... and even if it wasn't a lie he would have known that prior to promising it to me .....he then attempted to push MULTIPLE unwanted add ons such as paint protection and other xx, even though I told him multiple times NO... after repeated "NO" he told me it was included with my car at NO EXTRA COST... When I received all my paperwork I failed to notice that the itemized Bill portion was missing....Mr DAUGHTRY did this so I wouldn't catch his lie... It was only during this past tax season when I requested an itemized copy of my bill so I can write off my new cars interest that I noticed that it was not included and was an add-on item.... I immediately returned to the dealership and canceled the paint protection and gap insurance.... I was able to pass my experience on to another veteran who was waiting in the show room who immediately got up and left and shook my hand and thanked me for helping him... ATLEAST ONE OF US IS HELPING VETERANS In case you're wondering.... THIS IS WHY PEOPLE HATE CAR DEALERSHIPS..... PLEASE understand I'm going to make it my life's mission to make sure that you never get another customer... and im gonna add your company and the people i dealt with there to every chat room, auto forum, Facebook group, YouTube channel, and any other side that has anything to do with auto retail... In closing.... If you wish to avoid Shady business practices such as bait and switch tactics and outright lies...stay away from SPACE COAST HONDA... If you are a Veteran....DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM SPACE COAST HONDA More
