We stopped at space coast Honda to have two keys cut and programmed for our older Honda Odyssey. We were told they could not make the keys without the van. (Not at all true, we have had them made before fro programmed for our older Honda Odyssey. We were told they could not make the keys without the van. (Not at all true, we have had them made before from another key.) When we questioned the service manager about this, he said, “yes, it can be done that way, but we don’t do that because then the keys wouldn’t be genuine Honda parts.” We had been waiting for about 90 minutes when I went and inquired about the keys. I was told, “they are programming the keys now, and working on the airbag.” Again, I questioned this as we had not asked for recall service on the airbag. The technician said that he had explained to my husband that “if we have the parts we will fix it because it is a safety recall.” No one ever said that this work was going to be done. It truly felt that we were being held hostage so that they could cash in on the recall work. The service manager said that they had no choice but to fix it if it was a recall. I am glad that it is fixed, but would like to have been advised of the work intended and how long it would take as we had another obligation. We stopped in for keys and were there for two hours. More

Honestly pretty upset with this visit. I went to trade my bike in understanding there could be complications. So I drove 40 min to get there and get offers a low price and what felt like n I went to trade my bike in understanding there could be complications. So I drove 40 min to get there and get offers a low price and what felt like no desire to try for a sale. I came in with an approval from Honda as well so I already did a credit app. The past 3 cars I bought from them they did anything it took to get me not only in a new vehicle but at a payment I was ok with at that time there was more negative than now being worked with. Sadly this looks like it will not be my go to dealer anymore. It is what it is it just sucks. More
