She was very helpful and thoroughly presented all financial aspects of my purchase. Lastly, John Fletcher was amazing because his knowledge about the vehicle was easily understood and he answered all my questions no matter how big or small. The process from beginning to end went smoothly as each staff member involved came together as team to make sure I had the best car buying experience possible. More

Went there on Sunday last week around 3:30 driving from Raleigh and a vehicle that was literally on its last legs. I knew I wouldn't be able to drive it home, as I was lucky to get there without it breakin Raleigh and a vehicle that was literally on its last legs. I knew I wouldn't be able to drive it home, as I was lucky to get there without it breaking down. I was greeted by Joe McKenna very friendly and very willing to help me any way he could. He worked very hard to find me a vehicle I could afford along with one that I could get in and out of with ease. After looking and test driving a few vehicles he found me a Kia Soul, which I really had no interest in until I test drove it and found out that I could get in and out of it easily and it was very comfortable. Joe inquired in what I thought about it after I test drove it and said that Gary Patterson was able to get it for me around the price that I could afford. And they would give me a loaner car so I could get home safely and work the next day. They stayed open after hours and took me over to see Mesha who stayed to get all the paper work done so I could come back the next day and pick it up. I returned the next day to return loaner and pick up my new vehicle and Mesha informed me that she found a lower interest rate which lower my payment and added gap insurance and she needed me to sign new paper work. Never in my car purchasing experience have I ever had a dealership look that hard to satisfy a customer and go over and beyond their job to get me the best deal possible. Thank You Joe , Gary and Mesha for your extraordinary service and professionalism. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and will be telling everyone I know about the job they do there to help people. I would and will be when I am in need of another vehicle be going back there to purchase one. More

I have waited to submit this review in the hopes that My experience would improve. Unfortunately it has not, and I fear that my shopping experience is as good as it is going to get. There are several things experience would improve. Unfortunately it has not, and I fear that my shopping experience is as good as it is going to get. There are several things that have left me unhappy with my purchase and I will go into to details as to what those are, but let me start this review by saying that the staff at Sport Durst are all very friendly people. On my many follow up visits, staff have remembered my name and with very little prompting the issues that I have been having. This issues that I have with my experience have been many some more substantial than others but I will start at the beginning. I went to Sport Durst on May 25, 2013 to look at the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and the Mazda CX5. We never made it to the CX5. I was told that the Santa Fe Sport that I purchased had been on the lot for a while and hadn't sold, so it was sent off to be upgraded. I was not told when I purchased it that these upgrades were aftermarket parts, more on that later. I took delivery of my Santa Fe that Day and was told that for some reason there was only one key, but that my second key would be ordered and should be in within a week. That night, I noticed a deep scratch in the drivers side headlight, and a pinch in the vinyl on the front passenger door, headphones to the DVD player where not working and there was a considerable amount of noise coming from the sunroof. I returned to Sport Durst on May 26 to complete my down payment and listed all of the issues I had noticed. While my Santa Fe was in for service to get the Multishield protection they were able to send it off to have the vinyl repaired and they were able to replace the headlight after buffing was unsuccessful the only help I was afforded with the headphones was a google search of to find the directions. These did help I was able to figure out where the battery compartment was and remove the corroded batteries that were in there and replace them. I took my delivery person for a ride to explain the issue I was having with the sunroof and was told that I "probably just have a loud sunroof" Approximately a month later after several attempts to get my second key I was still complaining about the noise coming from the sunroof and the noise coming from the drivers side door. The service department looked at the door and relayed that there was nothing wrong. They also relayed that they couldn't look at the sunroof because it was an after market sunroof. This was news to me. It subsequent conversations, my sales person confirmed that he said it had been sent off for upgrades, but that he didn't say where it had been sent because he didn't know. As the customer purchasing a new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport from an authorized Hyundai dealership I expected all of its parts to be genuine Hyundai parts. I still did not have my second key and the noise level had me a place where I wanted to get rid of the Santa Fe and move onto another brand. Unfortunately with my car being in and out of the shop with the key issue, and the vinyl repair, and noone believing that there was a noise issue, it had been a month and my options fro return had eroded. I met with the sales manager. He explained that it is common practice for the dealership install aftermarket parts and vouched for the quality of the vendors that they use. The sales manager rode in my Santa Fe with my and as soon as I slid the sunroof open he immediately recognized that there was something wrong with the installation. He apologized and told me that is not the normal quality of work performed and that he would work with the vendor to get it fixed. July 2, 2013 I took deliver of my Santa Fe after Tops and Trends had adjusted the arch. I also took delivery of my second key. Unfortunately while my key had finally been cut correctly, the service department had neglected to program the key fob so I would have to come back after the holiday. My sunroof was much improved, but still noisy. Likewise the drivers side door is still noisy. I took my Santa Fe to get the fob programmed on July 13, 2013 and rode with the sales manager so that he could see what issues I was still having. As a result of that conversation we are going to try and find a wind deflector for the sunroof, to cut down on that noise level, and the sound that I hear on the drivers side is what I can expect. I received a phone message on July 16, 2013 notifying me that we hadn't been able to find a wind deflector yet, but it was still being worked on. I haven't heard anything since. I have had my new 2013 Santa Fe Sport for two months and I don't like driving it. Every time I get on the highway and I hear the wind noise, it reminds me of how frustrating and unsatisfying this purchase has been. Every payment that I make I think about the fact that had I gone somewhere else I probably could have gotten a Santa Fe with genuine parts and hopefully none of the problems that I have had. I wish that I could score you higher but the amount of time that it was taken for me to get unsatisfactory results won't allow it. More
