Today, my blind spot monitoring checked out ok on their tests, even though it clearly wasn't working. They took the time to take it on the road, so they knew I wasn't crazy, realized there is some fluke thing happening. There's no code or malfunction light, but it's indeed not working, and will be promptly fixed this week, when I have time to take it in and have them tear the back of the car apart.
