I don't typically post nor do I post negative experiences, but since the dealership asked....I made a service appointment on Monday for a Thursday timeslot to have my oil changed and my engine ai experiences, but since the dealership asked....I made a service appointment on Monday for a Thursday timeslot to have my oil changed and my engine air filter replaced. I was VERY specific in making the appointment. I arrived a half hour before my appointment at 11:30 a.m. I went to get lunch and returned to the dealership at 1:30 to discover that the dealership has been experiencing 3 to sometimes 4 hour delays! "What good is an appointment!?" I asked. The response I got was, "Didn't someone call you?" At ten after 2 p.m., I received a video showing my car with wheels off and the mechanic took me all over the car... tires, engine belts, brakes, brake fluid, belt tensioner, engine filter and other recommendations. When I approached the service desk, they said they had not yet started on the car as they wanted to give me a service estimate! I was calmly insistent that I did NOT want my tires rotated, I just bought them! ALL I wanted was an oil change and the engine air filter replaced. Chagrined, the service rep said let me go see what I can do. At three p.m., my car was wheeled around. I paid for an oil change (over $100) and didn't get my engine filter replaced. I drove an hour to this dealership. I feel I paid for the mechanic's time to take apart my car and make all his recommendations and the video...when all I wanted was an oil change and an engine filter replaced. I was explicit in making the appointment and when I signed in for my appointment and no one heard me nor told me their plans to tear the car apart...create a video and THEN begin to work on my car. I recognize that the dealer is demonstrating a care for my vehicle by doing these "inspections," but I should have been given the option to opt out or been told before I turned over the keys that I would be sitting around for 3 1/2 hours for a simple oil change! More

Sport Mazda North has continuously provided me with the utmost possible service experience. I leased my car through them in 2021 and have been routinely bringing it to this location for service. Most recently I had an issue with my tire loosing pressure, and the service advisor taking care of me, Benjamin, stayed in frequent communication and provided updates as they figured out the issue. Additionally, they always have loaner vehicle's available (scheduled ahead of time!) so you can drop your car off and go about your day -- a service I greatly appreciate. Thank you for always going above and beyond -- looking forward to bringing my vehicle to you again next time! More
