I schedule with Ellie I never have any issues with this dealership; this is where I bought my car and where I come to whenever I need my car serviced. I schedule with Ellie every time because she always finds a way to go above and beyond, even if it is just something so little as turning a bad day around naturally with just her positive mood. If I have made an appointment and for whatever reason the shop is running a little behind, Ellie communicates with me throughout the process, whether she can have my car prioritized or not, if it's just not possible. Great Sales, Challenging Financing I loved my experience at Sport Mazda, up until talking with the finance department. Edwin Acevedo was incredibly patient with my partner and I as we I loved my experience at Sport Mazda, up until talking with the finance department. Edwin Acevedo was incredibly patient with my partner and I as we attempted to make complicated decisions. We finally decided on what was best for us, and Edwin was fantastic at walking us through the process. Kudos to Edwin for sure, he seems like a great team member. Unfortunately, Edwin the finance guy had an incredibly poor attitude with us. After we caught him trying to give us a bad interest rate, he clearly was upset and ignored my questions for a few minutes. He was clearly frustrated, and it was entirely on his end with providing us bad numbers. At one point, he was intentionally trying to misdirect us by saying that taking the lower interest rate would add $500 to the price of the car. That was fine, because the lower interest rate is saving us 3,000 on the cost of the loan over the duration. This level of dishonesty led us to nearly leave the deal, even after spending almost 6 hours at the dealership. To sum up our experience, great sales, poor emotion management in the finance department coupled with attempting to take advantage of our first time buyer status. I would recommend Sport Mazda to my friends, but I would also warn them about working with finance and standing their ground. More
