We contacted several Mazda dealers including our local dealer. However, it was Earnest that made the sale happen. Earnest did a fabulous job! Sport Mazda have the vehicle on their lot but managed to get it at the price we were willing to pay. Our negotiations were over the phone due to being 65 miles away. The deal was perfect; the transaction went smoothly. Earnest provided the ultimate customer service and we are 100% satisfied. We will certainly recommend Sport Mazda and Earnest to anyone we know looking to purchase a vehicle. More
New Car Purchase via Online Communication Recently purchased a new 2014 Mazda 3 iTouring Hatchback from Sport Mazda. Since I did not want to take the traditional dreaded route of driving from Recently purchased a new 2014 Mazda 3 iTouring Hatchback from Sport Mazda. Since I did not want to take the traditional dreaded route of driving from dealership to dealership and haggling for hours in person, possibly wasting days, I started the entire process via online communication. I emailed, live chatted, and spoke with five Mazda dealers in my area. Having done extensive preemptive research and knowing exactly what I want, I just wanted to find the car and buy it at a fair price. Of all the dealers, Sport Mazda was clearly most tech savvy (ie. they at least know how to use the Intertubes..) and most importantly, Sport Mazda was the most responsive in the online communications. In today's Internet age, this dealer will be ahead if the others don't recognize the business they are missing from the Internet generations. Specifically, Samantha Lukens who handles the email and chat communications always responded to emails quickly (either immediately or within a few hours) and was professional but friendly. Sport Mazda and Samantha were willing to discuss the details and basically set-up the deal before I made the drive to see them which was very convenient. I did communicate with other dealers and received several quotes after some negotiation, and based on quote comparison and online research I feel I got a very fair price while they obviously made their cut. I really appreciated going to the dealer knowing exactly what price we agreed on ahead of time, and that is in fact what I paid with zero surprises. Awesome. Richard Rios was my actual salesman, and he was also very friendly and pleasant to work with. This 'sale' was quite easy for him, as the actual negotiation and deal were already done before I ever met him. Having said that, he was the one that walked me through the paperwork, inspected and delivered the car, and did the majority of face-to-face interaction at the dealership. Very nice guy and was not anything like the typical pushy, sleazy car salesman we all imagine. He is new so I hope that doesn't change with time! Although, I did not interact with Donny Larson or Jeremy Maylath in person, it appears that they were the service team that prepped the car. I was very happy with the new ride and I didn't notice a single spec on the interior or exterior before I drove off the lot. Obviously the car is new, but they managed to make it look better when I was leaving then it did when I arrived. A nice clean and wax job really did the trick (I'm assuming). Juan Cruz was the finance guy and was easy going, worked fast, and got me in and out without hassle which was great. Negative - the only negative comment I have about the entire overall good experience was the time involved. Given the fact that all I had to do is come in, test drive the card, and sign the paperwork (the exact car was chosen, pricing set, etc. online), the process took a bit longer than it should. I was there for almost 4 hours total, and most of the time was spent waiting around for behind the scenes stuff (aka it had nothing to do with Richard who was keeping us company and waiting just like we were). Understand that the dealer may not want to commit to all the prep work before ever meeting the potential buyer, but once I was there and clearly ready to sign and take the car, the process should be a priority. I was told I would be at the dealership for 1 hour, which was not even close. Anyway, happy overall and as long as it took, it was just relaxed sitting around time so this is just feedback for the dealership. More

Thanks, Richard! I finally met Richard in-person to look at the Mazda 3 iSport and review financing options, especially the advertised lease special. Wasn't planning to get a car right away (didn't have the lease special down payment and couldn't afford a traditional 60-72 month loan). Richard gave me a great presentation and test drive experience. Regarding finance options, Josh Snell checked my credit (over 750) and was able to qualify me for a lease special with less than a $100 down payment and less than a $300 monthly lease payment, for 10,000 miles per year for 3 years (36 months). I was speechless and dumbfounded and felt like Santa Claus gave me a surprise Christmas gift. I figured there was a "catch" but was unable to find one. I'll be charged .15 per mile for more than 30,000 miles after 36 months, plus a $300 "disposition fee" to return the car if I don't buy it. I'll also be charged for "excess wear and tear" if I don't buy the car at the end of the lease. This is normal lease stuff, I believe (my first time leasing). I'm 58-years-old, semi-retired, and working from home -- so a low-mileage/low-cost lease like this was a good fit. This is my first Mazda and I'm very impressed with the car, the dealership staff and organization, and the Mazda corporation's global commitment to deliver an affordable car that performs well, looks great, and saves gas (and the environment) too! I learned about the Mazda 3 via various car reviews and websites available on the Internet. The sportmazdaorlando.com website is outstanding, in my opinion, and is the reason I contacted this Mazda dealership first (via its website). The entire staff at Mazda were friendly, courteous, helpful, and willing to answer questions. I felt like I was working with a "team" or "family", rather than just 1-2 separate individuals. This is a great way to do business. More
