After visiting several dealerships, all of the sales associates were following me around pressuring me into buying a car. I had the complete opposite experience here. I would definitely recommend this dealership. All of the cars were kept in good shape and when I purchased the car it was given to me completely cleaned up with a full tank of gas. I'm very happy with my purchase. More

A Questionable Mistake Almost Cost A Deal I am retiring in June and my wife and I wanted to purchase a new car. I was trading in a 2014 Miata so I was familiar with Mazdas. In searching the in I am retiring in June and my wife and I wanted to purchase a new car. I was trading in a 2014 Miata so I was familiar with Mazdas. In searching the internet for the various dealers I found that Sports Mazda was advertising the Mazda 6 for a little over 20,000 with all the rebates and discounts included. This seemed like an unbelievable price so I called and talked with Mike Busted and he confirmed that that was the price. Mike was very helpful and I made an appointment to meet him. When I arrived he was busy with another customer and introduced me to Pedro Bianco who guided me through the process of the purchase. He was very helpful and pleasant. He took me through the test drive and the trade-in evaluation. He put the figures together and then came with the offer. This is where I felt like I was being played. The 20,000 deal now turned into a 23,500 deal on the base price following the 2500 rebate. When I finally figured out what was going on and mentioned it to Pedro he questioned where I had seen that deal even though I had already discussed this with Mike Busted before coming down. He finally went back to "check on it" and then came back apologizing for the "mistake." Making an excuse about changing prices. It seemed very strange that a sales person would not know what advertised prices were on the cars they were selling. Mike knew immediately when I called and inquired about it. I am sorry, but it just seemed to reinforce a stereotype of the call dealer when it happened. From that point on I had an uneasy feeling about the fairness of the dealership in dealing with the customers and just about walked away from the deal. The time with Andy Rodriguez in Finance was very helpful. He made the experience very comfortable and did not try to over sell extended warranty products. Over all the experience was good. Had there not been the "mistake" I would have rated the experience higher. More
Service Advisor makes all the difference I'm coming up on the 1 year anniversary with my Mazda from Sport, so I've only needed service twice so far. I do not enjoy going to the dealer for s I'm coming up on the 1 year anniversary with my Mazda from Sport, so I've only needed service twice so far. I do not enjoy going to the dealer for service, it's a 45 minute drive from where I live and the wait, even for an oil change, is several hours long. However, there are a few good reasons why I plan to continue returing to Sport Mazda for service even though it's not convenient. I've been to places like Tuffy and Tire Kingdom in the past with previous cars... they are very convenient! They are practically across the street from me and they can either take me home or I can walk back home and not have to sit in a waiting room for hours. However, those places always manage to damage something on the interior and that drives me insane. Since they aren't brand specific places, they tend to play a lot of guessing games in order to diagnose problems by trial and error. I want to have my car serviced by experts who know every inch of it like the back of their hand. I absolutely can't stand having to get the same problem fixed multiple time because it wasn't done right the first time. However, those things alone are not enough to make me endure the inconvenience of going to the dealer for service. What really makes the difference is my service advisor. I seem to have been "assigned" to a guy named James Resmondo.... and I'm very happy about that. He is great at explaining everything and updating me throughout the process. He is friendly and personable and one gets the impression that he is not there to try to extract as much money as possible from his customers. He isn't pushy or forceful, he simply tells you what's going on, gives you the options, and lets you make the best decision... I like that a lot. If I didn't feel like I was treated well at Sport, I would write a negative review and never go back (there's already a small list of dealers who have angered me enough with poor customer service that I will never return and I've lost them several customers by sharing my experience... let's not talk about Coggin Honda, City Kia, or CarMax!) but so far, my experience at Sport Mazda has been just the opposite. James goes out of his way to make the experience as comfortable as possible and I really appreciate that. James is awesome and he is the reason that I will continue making the drive and enuring the wait to keep my car in tip top shape at Sport Mazda! More
