I wanted to share my disappointment with my recent attempt at using the Sport Mazda South service department. I brought my car in (August 15, 2023) for an oil change and to have the AC drain line cle attempt at using the Sport Mazda South service department. I brought my car in (August 15, 2023) for an oil change and to have the AC drain line cleared. While speaking with the service advisor I was told that they needed to charge me a diagnostic fee of $165 and then it would be another $175 to actually clear the line, so it was probably going to be over $300 for the service which probably would have taken all of 30 minutes. I did manage to get the advisor to agree to not perform the diagnostic as you guys had cleared the line for me earlier this year and I was sure that was the issue, but she said it was still going to be about $175 again for a service which probably would have taken all of 30 minutes. What is really frustrating is she didn't seem to care whether I had the work done or not, didn't bother to see if there was anything she could do to get the price down. We bought the CX9 from you guys (before you moved) and have always tried to bring it to you for service. Unfortunately, this wasn't my first negative experience with this service department, but it will be my last. For reference I dropped my CX9 off at a local mechanic and he was able to clean and clear the ac drain line and sunroof drain lines for $110. More

This was my second service visit. I asked for Sasha again and was not disappointed. She greeted me with a friendly smile as usual. She wrote down all my concerns and then read them I asked for Sasha again and was not disappointed. She greeted me with a friendly smile as usual. She wrote down all my concerns and then read them back for accuracy. She texted me while I was waiting with a number to contact her if I had any questions. One of my concerns was the AC. She brought Jesus, the Tech that was working on my vehicle out and he explained what he had done and what he needed to do about the AC. They both came back again, and Jesus said once he had looked closer at the AC he would need to spend another 45 minutes doing some things (forgot the technical part) and asked if I had time for him to do it. I said yes and off he went. I received two short videos from Jesus explaining what he had done. Sasha texted me the service was complete, and they had washed the car. I went to her desk, where she reviewed everything on the RO with me. Got in my RX-9, turned the AC on and all has been good ever since. Both did a great job keeping me in the loop throughout the service. More
