However, more careful attention needs to be brought to the email side of things. Getting responses through email and to the correct person receiving it was rough in my personal experience. In person and on phone service is great, I just had some trouble with the email communications and feel they should be given better attention. More

They stand behind what they sell. We bought an '08 Outback with the hard-to-find 5 speed manual transmission. A one owner car that has been well looked after, for a reasonable price. We dealt with Octavio for the most part who was quite helpful, as well as Abby. Also Frank in Finance. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We offered 1K less than their asking price on the car. They accepted that, but did try to sell us an extended warranty, "gap insurance", and such. Talking about the monthly payment rather than the bottom line, to make it easier to sell these extras, but this is to be expected at a car dealer. And they charged us $25 for an emissions inspection certificate which it seems they were supposed to supply. Sort of a bummer but not a huge deal. Overall, still a good experience. And they stand behind what they sell; sadly, the battery was dead the morning after we bought it. We had to go buy a new battery for it. When I told Frank about that, he kindly offered to reimburse us if I sent the receipt. Which I did. A few weeks later and the check arrived in the mail. A couple days after we bought the car we thought it might have had bad head gaskets. It smelled like coolant after driving it up to Copper Mountain and back. They have a 30 day / $1500 warranty on any major repairs that might be needed on their cars. We called and again were treated well, and they said to bring it in for a look. We took the car to their shop on So. Santa Fe and they looked at it. While it was in the shop Abby called my wife to apologize for the problem which I thought was very nice of her. They determined the head gaskets were fine, in fact they may have been recently replaced they looked so good. The smell was coming from some undercoating the previous owner had apparently recently had done. We probably were a bit quick to assume it had head gasket problems due to prior experience with this on other Outbacks we've owned. We love Outbacks but they do have their little problems like any vehicle. They did not charge us for looking at it either. At any rate it is a great car, it's running quite well, and we would definitely recommend Springs Auto Group. More
