Scam artist, disrespectful, horrible customer service. I brought my Toyota Corolla in for 3 recalls. Airbag, airbag srs module and window bolts. i got a call saying my car was ready to be picked up so i wa I brought my Toyota Corolla in for 3 recalls. Airbag, airbag srs module and window bolts. i got a call saying my car was ready to be picked up so i walked over in the pouring rain on my 30 minute lunch break. When i arrived i stood around while the service salesman frantically rushed around looking for my keys that they had lost but did not want to admit. After they found the keys i was rudely informed that they hadn’t even started working on the car. i asked if they had a shuttle back to my work since it was raining and the service guy said “nobody is available, you can just walk back” at this point i was pretty fed up with the situation. I then asked if it would be completed by the end of the day and he’s said yes. at this point and be been here for almost a hour on my 30 minute lunch break. So i proceeded to ask if they can drop the car off only a few blocks away he said we close at 6 and i work till at least 6:30 everyday, so i asked him if i could pick it a few minutes after 6 and he said“ ”you can pick it up a different day then, when service is open” finally a nice gentleman randy i believe said he wasn’t busy at all and could drop me off he was very nice and respectful and told me that they do drop cars off for customers. After talking with him i ended up getting my dropped off at my place of work. When i got in my car my air bag light was still on. So i called Toyota to explain the situation and one of the sales guys answers the phone and tells me that I’ll be “safe” to drive home with no airbags and to “drive home and come back tomorrow” i kept explaining to him that they just worked on my air bags and now they don’t work and i don’t feel safe to drive with no airbags. I NEVER HAD A AIRBAG LITE ON PRIOR TO THERE SERVICE. Finally after arguing with him i convinced him to give me a loner car. As I’m at the dealership again for the third time in one day, one of there customers is out front screaming at me and being completely disrespectful trying to start a argument. I brushed It off and finally left. the next day i get a phone call telling me the clock spring is broken and i have to pay $505.75 to fix it to shut the airbag light off after they just serviced the F*****G air bags! They kept trying to say it’s not their problem and I’m responsible to fix the faulty part after they did a recall on the parts that had been known to fail “hence the recall”. I got nothing but rude and disrespectful attitudes over the phone. The following day i called 5 times to see what the update was on the car because i was afraid i would get charged a extra day for the loner car. I was constantly told I would be receiving a call within the next hour after calling five times I finally got a hold of someone to call me back and explain what was going on. At this point i finally talked to Ben the service manager. Ben was the only person in the whole dealership to actually give a S**t and actually care about the situation and try to make it right. after another day of not getting anywhere on the situation I resorted to calling Toyota corporate. Ben and Toyota corporate finally agreed that it did not make sense that I had to pay for the faulty part that was due to the airbag recall. They ordered the part in which took a few days understandably over the weekend and got it reinstalled which all is great so far. I was an utter disbelief at how unprofessional, And how disrespectful Saint cloud Toyota was. All they cared about was trying to scam customers and funnel as much money possible into there pockets. The saddest part was I was planning on buying a brand new vehicle the following week from them, but after this experience i have zero respect, for Toyota. I will never be back to Toyota or nor will i ever recommend anyone to step foot in Saint Cloud Toyota. You guys have lost my trust and respect which takes a lot. I just feel so bad for every other person who is afraid to stand up to Toyota for doing what’s right and not to be scammed by dealership politics. More
Brought my car in to get a noise checked out I brought my car in and was helped by Rob in the service center. I have never received such genuine and quality service in my life.
