My 3rd Genesis lease!!! I have been a Hyundai Genesis owner/leaser since 2012. My first two Genesis purchases were in my home state of New York. The cat and mouse game was ve I have been a Hyundai Genesis owner/leaser since 2012. My first two Genesis purchases were in my home state of New York. The cat and mouse game was very stressful when it came to pricing the car out. So as my lease came to term, I decided to let the dealers know up front that I want their best price on the NEW 2018 Genesis G80. Well as things went in New York I got different cars, different years and very high pricing. So I went to the Genesis web page, selected a near by out of state dealer (my first choice) Stamford Genesis. When I got to their site I plugged in my desires and found the car I was looking for and at a fair lease price. I then made an appointment with the dealer, drove the car and purchased it that same day. I never haggled on the price. I was treated with respect in that the Sales person listened to what I wanted and said. He understood I was a person who knew the Genesis line and wanted to help me continue my leasing of the finest car made. Sales Staff at Stamford Hyundai/Genesis Dave Martinich; This guy should be cloned and placed at every Genesis dealership in the country. What a complete pleasure to work with. Any question I had he answered. No Bait and switch he listens to the customer and sells them what they want. He does ask if I would be interested in a model year earlier but never pressed when I told him the 2018 was the car to have. My paperwork and financing was handled quickly and efficiently. When Genesis separates from Hyundai I think Genesis should keep Dave, He knows the clientele and knows the type of owner the Genesis brand would bring. GENESIS G80 3.8 After coming off a lease of a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 I was amazed at the direction Genesis went on their 2018 model. On my 2015 Genesis I had to purchase the premium package upgrade to get the minimum in new technology Blind spot monitoring. The 2018 Genesis made things a whole lot easier by putting SAFETY above all else. All the safety features that I was looking for 3 years ago are now all standard on the 2018 model. Genesis has their hearts in the right place in providing what the consumer is looking for as a standard option. This may be the same car I was driving in 2015 with regards to engine HP and suspension but with all the new standard features it's NOT!!! The 3.8, 311 HP engine offers a responsiveness not available in most cars. In the 6 years I've been driving this brand of car I have never felt at any speed a loss of control or handling. One of the other deciding factors in my purchase was my height and size. I just don't fit in the MOST of the cars out there. I'm 6' 2" and I can sit like the car was designed for my size. I feel like a kid again excited about driving and looking forward to that next LONG drive. I've had the car for just 3 days and have come home from work 3 different ways a little longer each day. Thank You Genesis for returning the youthful driver I once was in this great 2018 Genesis G80 3.8. Driving is now exciting again! More

And, the dealership appears to treat all who walk in their doors as the most important people whether they are there for a Hyundai or a Genesis. There is no "two level" of service. My review Stamford Hyundai was excellent. Although we were a little confused about where to go upon entering and the showroom is a bit odd and small, the staff Stamford Hyundai was excellent.
