Great place to get your car serviced. Friendly staff easy on the wallet and they do great work. I would highly recommend. This is the first time I ever bought a car and can truthfully say I was very disappointed with my experience. I drove 2 hours to go pick up this car that I fell in love with online and thought was per truthfully say I was very disappointed with my experience. I drove 2 hours to go pick up this car that I fell in love with online and thought was perfect, however I was very wrong. First, I called the day before saying I was coming the next day to drive the car so you'd think they'd have the car cleaned up and at the lot they sent me to. Nope, I had to go with the salesman to get the car which was covered in snow and drive it to back to the other lot. Then I find out on the way home when I stopped for gas the car doesn't lock, which I guess is my fault I didn't look at that but I figured everything would work since its coming from a dealership especially something like door locks. Not only that but I leave with the car only to find out that the person who took care of me (emmet) still had the spare key in his pocket after I left so I asked him to just to ship it to me on 12-15-20 and still haven't received it on 01-03-21. Then called several times after I bought the car and still haven't received my key after 19 days. Joe Robinson had said that he would pay to get the lock fixed on my drivers side door gave me the names of who to call and said they would pay to get it fixed because he said he wanted to make things right. Needless to say I went to the appointment both me and the dealer tried call Star Auto Mall 512 and the guy we were trying to reach didn't answer and still hasn't called us back. Then I called Joe back and he was getting mad because I called him so may times. Also bought their warranty and was told how great it was and the car could be taken anywhere and they would honor it. NOPE I called a VW dealership and 2 local shops and they all said nope they won't take it. So called Joe Robinson AGAIN and got an awful attitude and basically made me feel like I was bothering him. I told him I wanted to cancel the warranty. I was told I need to get it to him in writing so I emailed him a hand written letter which he suggested (again 2 plus hours away so trying to save myself time) got no reply then called just to make sure he got the email and it was ok and of course he was busy and still haven't gotten a reply. Keep in mind I went there payed full price for the car did't haggle just wanted the car and thought I would get service after the sale. NOPE! Car doesn't lock let me make that right for you. We forgot your spare key let me get that out next day for you. Im sorry that nobody will take the $2000 warranty we sold you, let me help cancel that for you. Thats how it should've gone but as of today 1-3-2021 I payed for the car to get fixed $500 plus, still no spare key, still haven't heard back from Joe Robinson and I have no clue if he actually canceled the warranty. So i'll have to take care of that myself I'm sure. Thanks Emmet Obyrne, Joe Robinson and Star Auto Mall 512 For the worst car buying experience. More
