EXCELLENT SERVICE DEPT! I brought my Versa in to be serviced and had the pleasure of dealing with the Service Manager. He was honest without being pushy and got the work done in a timely manner. They even had a "quiet room" in the waiting area in which you were able to watch the work being done. After having some issues at different dealerships, my experience at Star Nissan was great. I have absolutely only positive words for Mr Brian Magee! We almost purchased a car today but our deal was roughly interrupted by Mr Witek,who felt the need to force his authority where not needed. We felt disrespected and uncomfortable in his present but what bothered us the most was the way he delegated and commanded our sales representative. In the near future we would like to purchase a car from Mr. Brian only and will make sure, Mr Witek will be off for the day...The rest of the team was absolutely outstanding as well and very welcoming. Brian was very helpful and did everything he could do to satisfy us as customers. He went above and beyond for service. We love our new-to-us Murano! It looked great at first look but after getting it home we noticed lots of grime on the dash and steering wheel, dingy spots on the cloth ceiling, and crumbs, lint, and hair inside a compartment that was overlooked. We cleaned it up and I still feel good about our purchase. I look forward to driving it every day! Thanks for working with us! More
I brought my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder to Star Nissan for an oil change. After completing the oil change and car wash, my car was returned damaged with major scratches on the body of the car. My car was in grea oil change. After completing the oil change and car wash, my car was returned damaged with major scratches on the body of the car. My car was in great shape without any scratches on it before i gave it to the hands of Star Nissan. I assume there was an issue with the car wash which damaged my car. I believe accidents happen, but Star Nissan believes accidents do not happen, and refuses to own up to its mistakes and pay for the damage that was created by them. Mr. Dave Henington whom is the service manager was extremely rude to me and just wanted to convince me that there is no way his dealership did the damage and refused to fix the damaged car. Please do not do business with Star Nissan. I went and got an estimate on the damage of my car which totaled up to $6000 which I am responsible for. Star Nissan refuses to pay for the damage, nor do they refuse to return or answer back e mails that I sent to them. Again I highly recommend not doing business with this dealership, unless you want to get ripped off by these crooks. More
Brian Magee was great from start to finish. Not only was he customer friendly, he was very knowledgeable about the pre-owned 2006 Acura MDX I was looking to buy. I wish to ensure that two (2) persons ar Star Nissan are commended on their expertise and knowledge of their respective positions. They gave me the guidance I needed in leasing my new car. The Sales pers commended on their expertise and knowledge of their respective positions. They gave me the guidance I needed in leasing my new car. The Sales person Bill Werner went above and beyond in explaining every facet of car leasing and the impact it would have on me. He sat with me through the picking of the car and the diffrent features which would benefit me and asked the important questions which put me into the correct car. Then he sat with me through the financing and explained each step of the procedure. I also had "vanity plates" and I was worried that I would lose them in the transference of going from old car to new car. Barb Zerbe went through the process with me and assured me the plates would stay with me. Her knowledge of the Illinois Secretary of State and their rules astounded me. I wish to commend her on guiding me through this. More

I had been looking for a Nissan 350z for about a week. I had been to two dealerships prior to going to Star Nissan. The first dealership told me to buy cars somewhere else, and the second dealership lied to had been to two dealerships prior to going to Star Nissan. The first dealership told me to buy cars somewhere else, and the second dealership lied to me over the phone about a 350z and wasted 4 hours of my day after driving to see the car. Soon after that I found Star Nissan while looking at cars online. I called to get information about the 350z and the staff was very helpful. I was set up with an app with Brian Magee. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The best part about working with Brian was that he did not pressure me to buy anything and he did not speak to me like I was a child. I felt he was honest with me about every question I asked him. If he did not know the answer to something he would say he did not know and he would find the answer, many other salesmen would try to give me a fast made up answer. He also took his time while taking me through the car buying process. Other dealerships went very fast and that made me feel uncomfortable. I felt like other dealerships did not care about me or my business. I got the opposite feeling at Star Nissan. The entire staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. More

A few days after I bought the car I received a follow up phone call to make sure that the car was working to my satisfaction.
