We had such an amazing experience with everyone at Steamboat Motors, from the service team to the sales team! We had drove our truck and travel trailer up from Florida and unfortunately broke down. We are 1300 miles away from home on vacation. The check engine light comes on so we take the car to Steamboat motors. A person comes out puts a scanner on it and determines it is faulting on cylinder 8. Th engine light comes on so we take the car to Steamboat motors. A person comes out puts a scanner on it and determines it is faulting on cylinder 8. The service advisor comes out and says he can squeeze me in since it's likely a faulty spark plug or the coil which is located on the spark plug. Later I get a call saying they changed both and the car is ready. We get there and the bill is $380. $90 in parts which is reasonable but $280 in labor which equates to one and a half hours of shop time at the $180 per hour rate they charge which is a common hourly rate at dealers now. One and a half hours to install one spark plug is not. BTW the coil has to be removed to remove the spark plug so no additional time should be needed it's just part of disassembly and reassembly putting new coil on. I had the same thing done at my local dealer at home for $200. More

Just like family I'll start by saying I hate buying cars at a dealership with the stereotype that they have. From my initial inquiry about a car I saw online, I hung up the phone and told my husband that I thought I would buy a car from them just because that initial phone call was so different than all the other dealerships. They are prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and truly made you feel like part of their family. Toria was phenomenal to work with, listened to our desires, didn't pressure us, and made whole experience smooth and stress free. I can honestly say I've never bought a car before with such down to earth service. They are above and beyond in all areas. The 7 hour drive round trip to buy a car from them was definitely worth it! More

I have never had a dealership owner that checked in with me so often to make sure everything was going well. Thank you Toria for listening and following through to make sure I got what I wanted. Lastly, I am a senior with a health condition and they bent over backwards to make sure no germs came anywhere near me. Everyone was masked and clean. They truly care! More
