Another pissed off local! I am a resident of South Routt County, and had my 2004 F-250 pickup at Steamboat Motors in July of 2018 to fix a problem of it dying after coming to a I am a resident of South Routt County, and had my 2004 F-250 pickup at Steamboat Motors in July of 2018 to fix a problem of it dying after coming to a stop at high speeds--such as the stop sign at the intersection of Highway 131 and US 40. It seemed to be ok for about a week and then it started doing it again. I use my truck for my job so it was not easy to bring it in just any time, so I learned to live with it by putting the transmission in neutral before coming to a complete stop. I finally had the time to bring it back in on Thursday, the 16th of May and was able to leave it until Tuesday, the 21st as I was going on vacation. Upon my return on Tuesday, I called and was informed that "we could not duplicate customers concern at this time" and that was it--no explanation, no phone call, no contact with me at all. REALLY??? Upon picking the vehicle up on Tuesday night, I headed back to South Routt, and obviously to my dismay, it happened three times before I even left town. I called back to inform them of this occurrence, and obviously I was wasting my breath as they could not or would not do anything about it--bummer for me, right? I will obviously tell people to take their vehicles ANYWHERE else but Steamboat Motors. Thank you for your time More

Excellent Customer Service My pickup broke down between Hayden and Steamboat Springs on our way home to Berthoud, Co. I had my pickup towed to Steamboat Motors because they sell and service Ford vehicles. My daughter And her boyfriend were with me at the time and we were coming home from an elk hunt. When I called my insurance company they told me if the tow truck coming had only room for 2 people it was up to me to figure out how I was going to get the 3rd person a ride. I called the service department at Stemboat Motors and spoke to Brett Huff and told him the situation and that i was going to have my pickup towed there. Brett Huff Drove out to pickup my daughter and her boyfriend while I waited for the tow truck and took them to the dealership. while we were waiting at the dealership we were trying to figure out what to do because we had no running vehicle and no place to stay the night. They tried to find us a rental car form the area and beyond but no one had any rentals because it was during the week between Christmas and New Years 2018. So the dealership was able to get us a reasonable room rate in Steamboat while there were no vacancies at the Holiday Inn. They gave us a ride to the hotel and all of our stuff. The next day I went to get my pickup because I decided that night to have my brother in law come with a trailer and haul it back to Berthoud. I asked if there was a bill for there services and they said no and don't worry about it. The staff and owner went above and beyond for us and in return didn't even charge us. I am recommending Steamboat Motors for any of your vehicle needs and when I am in the market for a new vehicle I will make the drive from Berthoud, Co to Steamboat Springs, Co for my next vehicle purchase. More

New Management is awesome! I love my new Jeep Compass! I really wanted a new vehicle, but didn't know if my less than perfect credit would qualify me or not. These guys had me qualified in minutes! I have I really wanted a new vehicle, but didn't know if my less than perfect credit would qualify me or not. These guys had me qualified in minutes! I have never been somewhere before where I bought a vehicle and it was this smooth or laid back like it was at Steamboat Motors. From my understanding, they are under new management now, and wow, they are great!! There was zero pressure, they were flexible, quick, and very accommodating. All I had to supply was a one page application, my insurance card and drivers license, and in 5 minutes they already had me approved! Also, I am a Veteran, (so were many of them that worked there), and they had Veteran incentives I have never seen at any other dealerships before. They even offered to drive my other vehicle home which was 45 minutes away! Everyone there was so much fun, and easy to work with, I felt like I've known all of them forever after only spending an hour with them. If I didn't already have a job I love in a different field, I could see myself working here having co-workers like Patty, John, Marcus, Tim and Ralph. It was clear that their management appreciates their staff and their customers because he puts on a free BBQ every single Saturday for everyone. THANK YOU Patty for selling me my new Jeep Compass, and Marcus for shuttleing me around and getting my other vehicle home, John for getting me approved so fast and easy when I thought I wouldn't, Ralph, it shows that your management style and appreciation for your staff and customers is number one, you are laid back and funny and I really felt welcome, and Tim for being so personable, accommodating and inviting on the phone when I called about an oil change that morning - instead of saying "We are full today" he said "We will get you in, and we have free food today too we are BBQ'ing." I thought wow, how personable, that was great! So was the oil change! And I love my new Jeep! You guys were so great! More
