Pleasant experience, John is great, so is the new management I really wanted a new vehicle, but didn't know if my less than perfect credit would qualify me or not. John had me qualified in minutes! I have never been somewhere before where I bought a vehicle and it was this smooth or laid back like it was at Steamboat Motors. From my understanding, they are under new management now, and wow, they are great!! There was zero pressure, they were flexible, quick, and very accommodating. All I had to supply was a one page application, my insurance card and drivers license, and in 5 minutes they already had me approved! Also, I am a Veteran, (so were many of them that worked there), and they had Veteran incentives I have never seen at any other dealerships before. They even offered to drive my other vehicle home which was 45 minutes away! Everyone there was so much fun, and easy to work with, I felt like I've known all of them forever after only spending an hour with them. If I didn't already have a job I love in a different field, I could see myself working here having co-workers like Patty, John, Marcus, Tim and Ralph. It was clear that their management appreciates their staff and their customers because he puts on a free BBQ every single Saturday for everyone. THANK YOU Patty for selling me my new Jeep Compass, and Marcus for shuttleing me around and getting my other vehicle home, John for getting me approved so fast and easy when I thought I wouldn't, Ralph, it shows that your management style and appreciation for your staff and customers is number one, you are laid back and funny and I really felt welcome, and Tim for being so personable, accommodating and inviting on the phone when I called about an oil change that morning - instead of saying "We are full today" he said "We will get you in, and we have free food today too we are BBQ'ing." I thought wow, how personable, that was great! So was the oil change! And I love my new Jeep! You guys were so great! More

Great experience Great experience buying a new Jeep. John had all the time in the world for numerous test drives over several days. He was happy to stay late for us. Last year we had a 2010 Dodge 2500 diesel pickup we took it in for front end problems, after having seen it several times they could not determine what was wrong but told us it was fixed, we picked it up on a Friday night drove out of the parking lot and found that the truck was not fixed correctly. We drove to Denver the next morning and traded it in on a 2015 Dodge 3500. In the year that we have owned this truck we have had it in Steamboat motors dealership several times the most recent was for the the ball joints, they replaced them and now we are sitting in. A dealership in Denver (Christopher Dodge ) waiting on this dealership to put in a brake caliper bolt that was left out when they fixed it in Steamboat Springs. So when they put the truck up on the lift and checked the bottom caliper bolt, it fell out in their hand. (Good Job Steamboat Motors) Christopher Dodge on Colfax repaired the truck, unlike our local dealership was able to. Not sure if they need more training or less customers. Would certainly use another dealership if we had one. STEAMBOAT MOTORS IS HORRIBLE, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.... More
Horrible Customer Service Literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Had my car towed in on Thursday morning right after they opened, was told the h Literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Had my car towed in on Thursday morning right after they opened, was told the holiday weekend "might" mean they couldn't look at it until Friday or Saturday. I don't have an appointment, people like vacation, I get it. Called Friday, hadn't looked at it yet, was told they weren't open Saturday (which, fine, but why was I told you were yesterday?), so maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. It is now Wednesday. I called at 3pm, was given some xxxxxxxx answer that they were booked up 2 weeks out and they'd get to it when they get to it, but they don't know when that will be. Meanwhile I'm paying $40/day plus mileage on a rental car through them, but I'm sure that had nothing to do with it. When I went and got my car, I got accosted about the tow bill, which I'd already paid, and then he starts trying to tell me how I was in the wrong. No apology. Nothing. I was told 3 different things while my car sat idly. No communication unless I reached out. Give me a straight answer - xxxx, even tell me you can't take it for two weeks. I am capable of going elsewhere, and from now on I will. Take your car somewhere they actually give a xxxx about their customers. More

So I went there twice because of a recall on my new Jeep Cherokee 2015,and they said the car is perfect.First I wait two weeks for my appointment,xxx So I went there twice because of a recall on my new Jeep Cherokee 2015,and they said the car is perfect.First I wait two weeks for my appointment,xxx this is steamboat springs,there r no people there.But the bad part is that actually my A/C is not working,it is summer here in WA state and I tried to use it,because it was hot,but the AC is not working,after I went twice for a check exactly on that,waiting of course..Also,when I went to get my car they just gave me the papers with no explanation I start asking questions,and they were mad,because I freaking ask!!!! Well,thanks stupid Steamboat springs motors whatever.Awful experience.Do not go there is my advice.Thanks More
