Much more pleasant experiences than we've had buying cars in the past (from other dealers). Also met Joe Clark, from Management, who simply introduced himself and checked in on our progress. Peter demonstrated tremendous confidence and knowledge, as well as wonderful pride in working for Steve Lewis Subaru. Peter was very welcoming and showed tremendous knowledge and confidence in the Subaru product line. Peter was able to locate the exact vehicle we were looking for that included all the options requested. At no time was there any pressure in what can be a very stressful purchase. A few days later he contacted us to let us know of a vehicle that had everything we wanted and he was able to offer us a great deal- and the best thing is he was not pushy at all, and he enticed us to buy sooner. We got a great car for a great price (lower than TrueCar) without any of the negotiating hassle. More

Came up with a Car - that other dealers said didn't exist. Short version of a long story. I was looking for a Legacy 2.5 Premium with the full eyesight/driver assist package and a moon-roof. Used TrueCar pric Short version of a long story. I was looking for a Legacy 2.5 Premium with the full eyesight/driver assist package and a moon-roof. Used TrueCar pricing which results in multiple dealers vying for your business - but nobody had a car with what I was looking for (basic models or fully decked out 3.6's could be found). Was repeatedly told it would be at least 45 days for anything similar to what I was looking for and could be 60-120 if I wanted to have one built. Holly from Steve Lewis said we can get you what your looking for minus the moon-roof in 2 weeks. (It should be noted that I live in Connecticut, Steve Lewis is 70 miles away in Massachusetts - and I really would have preferred to use a local dealer.) A local dealer looking for my business told me that it wasn't true as he could see the same inventory and SL didn't have the car and wasn't going to get it - which made me a bit skeptical of SL (would a car dealer lie?...). Skeptically put a deposit on the car unseen. Got a call a couple days later. The car was IN.... Drove up to see/drive it the following weekend - loved it. Worked with Gus on the contract stuff. The gentleman has style and a sense of humor. Explained available dealer options without the hard sell - made it a pleasant experience (nice job Gus). Myron (also a good guy) got me 4 year 1.49% financing which was better than my credit union. Car was dropped in my driveway with a full tank of gas 4 days later. In terms of pricing its hard to haggle when no one has the car - but I still paid what I view as a fair price. To end - based on the experience so far I will definitely consider buying my next Subaru from Gus and Steve Lewis Subaru. More

She introduced me to my sales rep Tyler, he was very helpful showed me the two cars I wanted to look at, treated me like a real person and not just trying to tell me what I needed to hear to seal the sale. He was personal and shared his expieriences with his recent subaru that he leased and the perks of leasing as well as the downside of leasing (mainly mileage). I then was introduced to Larry to go over the financial aspect, he helped and pulled as many strings as possible to get my payment low with my budget and he did get it pretty close. Unfortunately I couldn't lease the car because of insurance reasons on my end. My main compliment of this dealership is they didn't harass me with tons of phone calls after I said it wouldnt work out, they did follow up but only once which I requested and they respected. Because of that reason I'm going back tomorrow to look at a used subaru on their lot! 5+ to Tyler and Larry for making my first "real" car buying expierience the best! More
