The minute I walked in the door, Gus greeted me in a friendly but professional manner. I laid out what I was looking for (a 2013 Outback) and what I was trading in (a car and a pickup), and we put every friendly but professional manner. After the drive, when I couldn't decide on color, Gus patiently brought down a second car so I could compare based on an actual car instead of just a color swatch. I was never made to feel as though I was putting anyone out, or asking for extravagant favors or considerations -- instead, I was made to feel that whatever it was going to take to make me a happy customer, SLS was ready to provide it. The next day, when I came in to finish up the deal, Larry went over everything Gus had started, and went with me for a second test drive. After that, Michael helped firm up the prices for my trade-ins (traded in two vehicles), and we struck a deal. Myron finished up all the paperwork, Larry set me up with a ride home so I could ferry my second vehicle back, and then finished up by thoroughly going over the car with me, putting the keys in my hands, and sending me away happy. The short story for me is that, with minimal pain, I was able to consolidate two limited-purpose vehicles into one very nice machine. I think if you wind up at Steve Lewis Subaru you're going to figure out that this is a different kind of dealership, one at which the customer's happiness is what matters. I'm a living example, and I love my new Outback. More

It was easy to buy my car. I went in on a Monday and test drove a Forrester which I had been looking at. There was no pressure from the salesman to purchase the car. When my local dealer said that a car with the equipment I wanted did not exist and that I would need to "lower my standards", which was not happening, I turned to an internet search box. Steve Lewis Subaru called me within an hour to say that they had a late-model used car that fit my description. Dave Hanks was my perfect car salesman. He was friendly and responsive, did not try to sell me things I did not want or employ "car salesman" tactics on me, was super-product knowledgeable given his 16 years experience, and knew that the used car they had on the lot was the one for me. I don't remember the names of the men who delivered my car right to my door, 2 hours away from the dealership, but thumbs up to them, too. This was my first experience at a subaru dealership. First of all I most say there is nothing fun about buying a car and the process can be quiet tedious but Pete was amazing. He listened to our needs and delivered everything we were looking for in a vehicle and more. This is the first time I bought a car and felt good walking out the dealership with a new vehicle. Overall we had a great experience and could not be happier with our Outback and everyone who worked together to make the sale happen. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, but did not feel pressured. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Showroom was clean, well lit, and nicely laid out. We worked primarily with Justin who was well in pressured. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Showroom was clean, well lit, and nicely laid out. We worked primarily with Justin who was well informed about the cars we were interested in, but very willing to seek out others if he was unable to answer our questions. Our test drive of the vehicle allowed us to get a feel for the car under varying road conditions including highway, residential and unimproved roads with washboards and pot holes not unlike the areas where we would be driving the car. The fact that they encouraged us to take the vehicle on the unimproved road showed us Justin's and the dealership's confidence in the design & assembly of the vehicle. We were shown a variety of cars with the options we were interested in, but not pressured into buying off the lot, and ultimately were able to negotiate a price we were comfortable with. We liked being able to make an appointment to sit with Justin to spec out the vehicle / negotiate the price, as well as to pick up the car (allowed us to have his uninterrupted attention without waiting a long time). The vehicle we ultimately chose was not on the lot, but we were kept informed of the progress of shipment. While we did not go through Steve Lewis or Subaru for financing (although we were given the option without undue pressure), Myron was able to give us helpful information. Once the vehicle arrived Justin scheduled a convenient time for us to take delivery of the car Since he would not be available at that time, he introduced us to Peter and Kerry who would be going over the car with us. When we picked up the car Peter and Kerry took time to go over the features and options before we left the dealership. We have had our 2013 Subaru Outback Limited for 3 weeks and are loving it. More
I have been a Subaru man for 30 years and wouldn't buy anything else.I have never liked the process of buying a car. The pressure and antics of previous sales people always left me wanting never to do it anything else.I have never liked the process of buying a car. The pressure and antics of previous sales people always left me wanting never to do it again. But my experience buying my 2013 Outback has left me pleased. Justin listened to my concerns up front and respected what I wanted. He was very personable,friendly,honest and gained my trust very quickly. He made the whole process quick and simple. I will definately refer potential customers to him and have a couple interested now. Thank you Steve Lewis for employing him. More
