Joe Varone has a way of making you feel at ease during a very important decision on buying a new car. He went out of his way to get you the best available deal you could possibly get.If I could give him all very important decision on buying a new car. He made sure I got to see the service department and met people on that side of buying a new car. Was very professional and didn't try to hard sell me something I didn't want. I've had that happen before and never went back to that dealer since. That was in 2000 . The salesman can make or break your deal and I feel very strongly that Joe was exceptional. I really want to commend this dealership. From the start, beginning with the sales consultant, Greg Yancy, top notch experience. He was a very personable and likeable individual. He always put my needs and desires to the forefront. Bottomline, is was a very pleasurable buying experience. Secondly, the sales manager Brett Bales, went out of his way to locate our specific color request. Stating he'd go on a 3 state search if necessary and WOULD find that car. He kept me abreast of the status of the search. Finally, Ezell Watkins, the finance manager, who was efficient and very professional. Even though we reside in Illinois, he had all the proper forms and answers to all our questions. I've never said this before, but it was a very straightforward and enjoyable buying experience. Neil was different from other salespeople at other delarships right from the start. He actually told me over the phone that he really wanted to be able to make the sale and was willing to work for it. delarships right from the start. Other salespeople seemed to act like they were doing me a favor telling me about cars. Second, Neil was extremely candid over the phone about what the car I was interested in had in options and which options it was missing and I appreciated that candor. Third, upon arrival at the delarship Neil had actually taken the time to familiarize himself with how everything worked in the car even though it wasn't a car typically sold by his dealership. Everywhere else I went I got answers like "I'm not sure what that button does" or "I've never seen one of these cars so I couldn't really say how that feature works." For me, if you want to sell me a car then you should be able to highlight its positives and Neil did that. Fourth, Neil worked hard for me even after we made the sale and had several items to clear up such as minor items I requested be fixed which Neil was more than happy to include in the terms of the sale. Neil would come in on his day off or come in early or late if there was something I needed. Neil is a true salesman that understands what a buyer expects and is willing to work for the sale. I drove a long way to purchase from Neil at Cerame and it was worth it. More
