This 2-star review is a combined score of 5 stars for salesperson Anthony and 0 stars for the rest of the dealership--in particular the finance and administrative department. Good news first: My sale salesperson Anthony and 0 stars for the rest of the dealership--in particular the finance and administrative department. Good news first: My sales guy, Anthony, was very good at his job. He happily answered all of my (sometimes dumb) questions with great patience and accuracy. The price I got was not the greatest, I don't think, but it was fair, and there was no monkeying around with the numbers. The bad news: This company is either unbelievably stupid or unbelievably abusive--take your pick. I purchased a used car for cash and was not given title to the car. Some of the advice I received was that the title should have simply been handed to me when money changed hands. Evidently, however, something had to be processed through the California DMV. The dealer, meanwhile, told me the title was at the corporate office and/or the DMV. They didn't appear to even know. Fast forward several weeks, during which I could get NO RESPONSE from the dealership as to the status of the title. The worst case I envisioned was that they'd simply taken my money and retained the title--which could result in my being charge with stealing the car. Weeks later, after the dealer had long since quit responding to my calls, I did receive a title from the DMV. But it was not without considerable (and totally needless) anxiety, due to their unwillingness to give me some straightforward information. I really would not advise dealing with this company. More
The first thing to note is that this is a DGDG dealership. I had no idea and thought DGDG was just a used car sales organization with the obnoxious DGDG spokesman that I mute whenever a DGDG ad c dealership. I had no idea and thought DGDG was just a used car sales organization with the obnoxious DGDG spokesman that I mute whenever a DGDG ad comes on, but they actually purchase dealerships. I came in with a cashier's check for the entire amount of the car and got the run around for OVER 2 HOURS. It was the most horrendous experience I've had at a dealership. The grand finale was having to go to the "finance office" (recall the cashier's check which should have negated this step) and then got a sales pitch for a bunch of useless and expensive extended warranties. I will never return here for service or anything else. I live in Mountain View and I'll drive to the Gilroy dealership instead of returning here. More
Pathetic service. They will call you repeatedly before getting the car and after selling it they forget about the customer. Never get a car loan from this dealership. They will call you repeatedly before getting the car and after selling it they forget about the customer. Never get a car loan from this dealership. They informed me that my loan was approved by Chase and after a month I get to know that its some other financial institution that’s sponsoring the loan. I was not even informed about this. The concerning issue is that the Sales Representative tells me that its not the dealership’s responsibility to inform the customer if the loan provider has changed if the terms are same. This is totally wrong as any customer would go with a reputable bank rather than a lesser known and risky institution. Do not get your car from this dealership. Go to Toyota or any other good dealership. The have tie ups with these auto loan companies and get you loans with high interest rates. Additionally they promised me on the day of gettIng the car that they would provide me a spare key and deliver it to me the next day. After a month they tell me that they don't have a spare key and I will need to pay for it. I don't mean to devalue any business or write negative reviews, but their service has been pathetic. Humble request: Please research about bank loans from other banks and organizations before coming here. These guys will run a credit history against 10 loan providers and drop your credit score. The same was done with me. And I had to take a loan at 10% interest rate which is xxxx high, but the car was an urgency that tome and I had to go forward with it. Kindly go for another dealership, not this one. This review is not meant to bring any negativity, but to actually create awareness of how people can scam you. More
I bought a Genesis GV70 18 months ago here and I am very pleased with the car itself. I am moving back to Europe and visited Hyundai Stevens Creek to get a price on my car, the car itself is like new with 7 pleased with the car itself. I am moving back to Europe and visited Hyundai Stevens Creek to get a price on my car, the car itself is like new with 7000 miles on the odometer. They offered me over 40% less than I paid for it 18 months ago !!!! Interestingly a competitive Japanese dealer offered me 20% more than Hyundai themselves. So if you are going to buy a Genesis don't buy it in Hyundai of Stevens Creek! More
If you are thinking of buying a car here please take the time to read this first. Literally, the worst dealership that I have done business with. My family bought a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq here back in Novemb time to read this first. Literally, the worst dealership that I have done business with. My family bought a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq here back in November 2022. The car had some registration issues because the dealership sold us a car with NO PINK SLIP!! I called to ask when I would get the license plate back in late January 2023 which was 3 months after the purchase. A sale associate told me to wait another 2-3 weeks because the DMV was backed up without checking anything. After 4 weeks and still haven't received the license plate or the title. I contacted the dealership again and another sales associate told me to wait another 2-3 weeks. After another 2 weeks and still haven't received anything. I contacted the dealership again and demanded to talk to a manager. The person I spoke to was Mike the sales manager. He told me that the license plate has already been sent out in December 2022 but I didn't get anything in the mail and I would have to contact the DMV directly to get a replacement. Within 2 days, I received a letter from the DMV saying that the car could be impounded and we could be fined if we continue to use the car due to the registration process being incomplete. Keep in mind, when we buy the car we PAID FOR THE SERVICE FEES so that the dealership can take care of all the paperwork. So it was shocking to us that they didn't complete the registration process. On top of that, how could the DMV send us a license plate if the registration process was never completed in the first place? We drove directly to the dealership and spoke to another sales manager there at the time named Dave. Dave was also no help. We left the dealership stressed and worried because we still don't know what was going on with the car after we PAID OFF EVERYTHING and 5 months later still have no registration or the title of the car or anything to show proof of ownership. The next day, I was told by Dave to contact Billy another sales manager there to get a loaner car to use in the meantime while they try to figure out what was going on that caused the registration process to be incomplete. Billy told me "I'll reach out to you later today and tell you how long to expect". That was the last thing I heard from Billy man. 2 weeks later when the loaner car agreement is about to expire. I reached out again to follow up with the process. After 3 direct unanswered calls and a series of "Please leave a message at the tone" from getting transferred by sales associates, I had the pleasure to speak to Mike again. This man did not help with anything at all as he blamed Billy as the main person working on the case and Billy was not working that day. He told me the problem was that the DMV doesn't have the pink slip of the car because the last owner was a military person so he/she traveled to many different states. And they can't locate where the pink slip is. They don't know who this person is as the car was bought through an auction. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SELL PEOPLE CARS WITH NO PINK SLIP???? At the end of the conversation, Mike said he will send the loaner extension in a couple of hours and he will tell me how long to expect. He did not send anything. I had to go call chasing to get this man to send me the loaner agreement the NEXT day. At this point, we don't even want the car anymore. We want to buy a car, not the hassles. Stevens Creek Hyundai has terrible customer service. As soon as you pay off your car, they still stop caring about you. They DO NOT take care of their customers. Everything is shady and non-transparent at this dealership. They will push your issues around to different people and different contact points. It has been an EXHAUSTING and DREADFUL experience dealing with the people here. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Take your money and go buy at some other Hyundai dealership. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. More
Recently had an problem with a 2019 Accent (some fuel injection issue it would seem). I brought the car down to Stevens Creek Hyundai and had such a great experience with the whole process that I wanted injection issue it would seem). I brought the car down to Stevens Creek Hyundai and had such a great experience with the whole process that I wanted to share it. Alma B in Service was helpful and easy to communicate with. She let me know that there was a recall item that they would handle at the same time. Alma kept me updated on the process (which went really quick, drop off to pick up). It was all covered under the warranty, and with a level of courtesy and professionalism I've not before experienced at ANY dealership. Thank you Alma B ! More

I was looking for new Hybrid vechiles. This Dealership does not have ethics and completely into LOOT practice. They were asking for more than 5k markup for car giving excuse of chip short This Dealership does not have ethics and completely into LOOT practice. They were asking for more than 5k markup for car giving excuse of chip shortage. I can understand giving deposit to be in line due to lack of supply in car manufacture backlog but common asking markup on MSRP is LOOT. Agent were not interested to show or discuss alternative just keep showing xl sheet of waiting line. $3000 for gas car and >$5000 for hybrid or phev car. Stay away from this dealership unless you want to get rip off. Rude Agent didn't even discussed further about gas model.kr.other options. Once they.find you have hesitant regarding markup values. They will not show any interest or talk any further. More
This dealership clearly has a different standard of ethics than I do! From my experience it seems they have no regard for people and are all about making money. I drive my disabled parents in their car ethics than I do! From my experience it seems they have no regard for people and are all about making money. I drive my disabled parents in their car and I was hit and injured. Their car was totaled in the accident. We've been searching for another car within our combined budgets that would fit all the accoutrements of a 100% service disabled Vietnam Marine who somehow survived 5 strokes last year, his service dog, his wife who is on a walker and my newborn because I am her primary caregiver and have to bring her with me often while acting as their chauffer. We are a hundred miles away from this dealership and had to rearrange 5 people's schedule to get us there for a car that fit the bill. We spoke with one of the sales people for 3 days about this car and asked to put down a $4,000 deposit for them to hold it until we got there, which they declined. Between 3 people's medical appointments this was the soonest we could arrange to physically visit the dealership. In this "post" Covid world there are ways to complete all the paperwork ONLINE - which they chose not to do. We were literally on our way out the door and they told us they sold the car. Their only response is "we don't hold used cars". They knew we were coming and what time we would be there, we offered a holding deposit, they knew the relevant information keeping us from being there 3 days ago when we found the vehicle online. We had an appointment to buy the car this afternoon and they sold it out from under us! What a waste of time and effort! My father almost saw it coming, he said, "we'll get there and they will have sold it while we were on our way". I heard him, but felt it was a joke because we had an appointment to finalize the purchase. Perhaps the JOKE is this dealership! More
I NEVER give reviews but this experience was just so degrading and awful I had to. Came here with my mom to look at a specific car I was interested in. Right off the bat the first employee we ask for he degrading and awful I had to. Came here with my mom to look at a specific car I was interested in. Right off the bat the first employee we ask for help says “I’m busy with people who have appointments.” in a really rude manner. He directed us to a man (not naming names) who looked like he’d rather be doing anything else than helping us. He asked us “who’s the car for?” He made it seem like we were wasting his time. And when I said me, he gave me the most uncomfortable up-and-down head-to-toe look I’ve ever experienced in my life. I guess I looked too poor to be buying a car? Or maybe he was judging my looks, not entirely sure. Then he asked “how serious are you about purchasing?”. Like how can I be ready to hand over my money if I haven’t even seen the car and test driven it?????! He also made uncomfortable comments to me and my mom implying we couldn’t afford the car and why I was only looking at the base model. His knowledge about the car itself was truly lacking as well. I will not be coming back here EVER and will be telling my friends/family to not come here as well. We own a Prius, Lexus, Mercedes, Tesla and Porsche Cayenne so we know a lot about buying cars and can definitely afford buying a Hyundai. Never have I EVER experienced such horrible customer service from a dealership and their staff in my entire life. The look of shock on his face when my mom and I drove off the lot in a Mercedes was something I wish I had captured with a camera. All in all, these 2 employees made me feel like I didn’t belong and like I was a criminal of some sort. Avoid this dealership at all costs!!!! More
