My parents handled the first half (i.e., the harder half) of the process because I was out of town. They told me that they felt like they were being treated very respectfully and fairly, and I know that they were driving a hard bargain on my behalf. When I met Jeremy just a couple days later to make the purchase, I saw what they saw. He was knowledgable about all parts of the process and honest and fair in negotiations. Had terrific experience there from start to finish. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Working with Joe was very enjoyable as he knew his vehicles well and offered us lots of information regarding our options of leasing vs. buying. He was in no rush to try and close the deal, rather wanted to ensure we were happy with the purchase. He also helped us with a minor follow-up problem by coming out to our house the next day to resolve the matter. Not the typical car buying experience. I got several quotes over email from all of the Denver area Toyota dealers on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab TRD Off-Road. It came down to two dealer I got several quotes over email from all of the Denver area Toyota dealers on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab TRD Off-Road. It came down to two dealerships and I scheduled appointments to come see the truck and do a test drive. First stop, Toyota Autonation. We did the test drive and everything was going well until they brought out the price sheet. The total price was several thousand dollars over what I was originally quoted. And so began the typical car buying game with Autonation trying to rip us off at every turn. We threatened to leave, they lowered the price... and so on. We finally did leave Autonation and I'm glad we did. Our next stop was Stevinson Toyota East. They had quoted us the same price on the vehicle as Autonation. That's where the similarity ended. When we arrived at Stevinson, the truck I was interested in buying was sitting right out front and was cleaned and ready for me to test drive. The Salesman we worked with, Jeremy Young greeted us and we went for a quick test drive. We worked with Jeremy and easily negotiated a great deal on the Tacoma and fair price for our trade in. Not once during the process did they threaten us with the "now only" deal BS or try to trick us into buying unwanted warranties or accessories. At the end of the day, Autonation and Stevinson had offered us about the same price for the Tacoma. We choose Stevinson simply because the customer service and experience was light years ahead of Autonation. Way to go Jeremy! More
