No limited's on the lot? Our overall experience buying a new car at the dealership had it's ups and downs. I would like to preface this by saying the two salesman we worked w Our overall experience buying a new car at the dealership had it's ups and downs. I would like to preface this by saying the two salesman we worked with, Leo and Joseph did a great job finding the right vehicle for my me and my family. Leo was very patient with us while we shopped and Joseph did a great job and was very attentive, emailing back and forth prior to us coming into look at the 4runner we discussed. That said in the emails we discussed the blizzard pearl white limited 4 runner. Here is where things became a little unprofessional in my opinion. We arrived at the dealership knowing that Joseph, the sales associate we had been working with was not working that particular Saturday. No big deal. Another associate, John had met us in the parking lot and said our vehicle was all ready to test drive. He walked us over to a white SR5 and said we were all ready to go. I questioned him and said I had discussed the white limited with Joseph. He basically ignored what I was saying and proceeded to get my license to get us out to test drive the SR5. Again, I questioned him and again he was blind to the fact we were not interested in the SR5. John said they did not have any limited's on the entire lot. I found this kind of strange as I could have sworn I saw a few as we entered the dealership. But John works here, so I figured he should know his inventory. We told John, again, we were not interested in the SR5 and that if there were no limited's to drive we would be on our way. That is when John said they had 1, blue limited and they were pulling it around. Perfect. We could at least test drive the vehicle we were interested. This is when we met Leo. Leo took us on the test drive and everything was great. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Pulling back into the lot we passed about 6 limited's, one being the white blizzard pearl I had discussed with Joseph. Strange. Long story short I questioned John about this again and to my surprise he told me that Joseph had told him to get the SR5 ready for us. Although, in talking to Joseph, after the fact, he had left John all our email correspondence. Something just wasn't making sense. Why would John not have wanted to have us test drive the white limited Joseph and I had discussed? Then to pull around the blue limited to drive? We loved the ride in the blue limited so all we needed to do was make our color choice and we would be set. We decided on the blizzard pearl and after a little back and forth dealing we shook hands with Leo and made the sale. Into finance we went and that's where it all made sense what John was trying to do. The odometer on our paper work for our new 4runner read 423 miles. Working with Joseph and Leo was a good experience. Having John blindly plead the 5th at every question we asked was very disappointing. I really don't know how someone like that can work with integrity. But I suppose that is sales. Moral of the story...just test drive the exact car you want to buy. We were a little shocked to find out the car we wanted already had 400 miles on it. Again, the only reason for the ratings the way they are is because we never got any answers from John about why the limited wasn't ready for us to drive, why he told us they didn't have limited's, and in general his lack of customer service. Joseph and Leo were great to work with and would work them again. The amount of time it took waiting for the finance department to finalize our paperwork and John's lack of professionalism will make us re think purchasing from Stevinson in the future. It was hard to say I would recommend this dealership, but we have had nothing but good experiences working with the service department, as we used to bring our 2002 4 runner here. More

It seemed as if every dealer in Denver didn't care about me or the purchase I wanted to make. When I walked into Stevinson Toyota east, I was immediately greeted by Jeremy. Finally a sales person who let listened to what I wanted and produced results. The longer I was around him, the more he felt like a friend and not a regular salesman. He turned my buying experiance into to a fun, light hearted, experiance.....like I was buying from a personal friend. It put me and my mind at ease and I must say I LOVE my new Rav4!!
