My fiancé and I have bought 5 cars from Stew Hansen's and specifically from James Reynolds. I came in already knowing what I wanted and James found exactly what I wanted and made it happen for me. James knows a lot about the cars on the lot and can help with any question asked. James did not let us going to finance end his day, but he stayed until all of our financing was done and made sure we were comfortable and didn't have any questions. After having the car for a week James called and made sure I was still liking it and didn't have any questions. The only place I go to buy cars is Stew Hansen's and I will only go to James Reynolds! So far we have refereed many of our friends and family to Stew Hansen's and James Reynolds and everyone has been more than happy about the recommendation and the product. More

The only reason I didn't decide to buy from another dealership was because of my trust in Shad's great customer care! My last service visit was especially positive! The job was done well and quickly -- under warranty and still treated as though I was paying a lot! REALLY loves that they vacuumed and washed the car! Thanks!! More

THE worst dealership I have ever dealt with! A nightmare! I don't even know where to begin with the problems experienced. Took a deposit on the vehicle but didn't pass that on to the "finance manager" Didn' I don't even know where to begin with the problems experienced. Took a deposit on the vehicle but didn't pass that on to the "finance manager" Didn't have the car ready when I arrived to pick it up and since I drove 4 hours I ended up having to stay overnight. Didn't have the title for the car they sold me, didn't get it to me for 3 weeks which meant no use of the car. Didn't even give me the proper window permit to enable driving it. Didn't give me sales contract with my paperwork, had to mail it to me. Mailed my title to the wrong address. Ordered wrong part for trailer hitch, installed trailer wiring adapter upside down making it unusable. High pressure sales for extended warranty, even pointing out a fake security camera and telling me they were watching him so he had to keep trying to sell me it even though I declined it. That's just the surface. Worst experience ever and I buy a LOT of cars (I currently own 7) More

Service dept??or guessing department 2012 ram 2500 80,000 miles (most problems since 45,000) Sticks in 2nd gear 1 a day(even after they "fixed") Roof leaks rear passenger side Turbo d 2012 ram 2500 80,000 miles (most problems since 45,000) Sticks in 2nd gear 1 a day(even after they "fixed") Roof leaks rear passenger side Turbo does what it wants when it wants (supposedly replaced) 8 working days without truck Downshifting twice on small inclines with and without trailer Heavy-duty ball joints out at 40,000(my cost) one day without truck Turbo side making loud noise after replacement (another 2 days without truck) Loud banging from under truck when acceleration from stop and go. (Dealer says normal ) Rear end look at.......magic juice added .....still lots of noise from drive to reverse.......on and on and on. The biggest test to to recreate these problems at dealership within a reasonable amount of time or miles. (About 3 miles) Airbag light stays on 2 times a week Engine light stays on 1-3 times a week If you experience continuous problems ,please remember you are only the consumer and it's not your fault or job to find /remind /beg/prove the issues you are experiencing. Be consistent and contact Chrysler directly. I'm currently using this method. More
Terrible Finacing Experience - Buyers Beware! Saturday, I went into the dealership to purchase a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan that I found online. Online, the vehicle I wanted to purchase was $26,595 Saturday, I went into the dealership to purchase a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan that I found online. Online, the vehicle I wanted to purchase was $26,595.00 after rebates (MSRP $31,325.00 minus $4,730.00 in rebates). I printed off the window sticker, printed off my 1% off Factory Invoice (Chrysler Affiliates Rewards program) , brought a copy of my $500.00 coupon for Black Book Trade, and my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan to trade in. I discussed the deal with the salesman. He, and another gentleman worked out the sale with me to purchase the vehicle. I had an excellent experience with these two individuals. This is the agreement I thought that I made with them: 1% off Factory Invoice. plus total discounts of $3,750.00 plus another $2,000.00 for my trade in. They sent me in to work with the Finance manager, and they had me sign the papers after sitting in the dealership for over 3+ hours. When I got home, I reviewed my Purchase Agreement and my Financing contract Saturday evening, I noticed the purchase price was not what I agreed upon. This is the agreement the Finance manager printed up: $3,750.00 plus $2,000.00 for my trade in. So, I didn't get the 1% off Factory Invoice like I should have. Also, they added $399.00 for AUTOSHIELD - which I didn't even agree to add. I went back in today, Monday, to find out why they didn't give me the 1% off Factory Invoice, and I was told they did give it to me, and there was nothing they could do for me. They apologized for not telling me about the AUTOSHIELD, and said they were sorry to lose my business but they felt I got the deal that I agreed upon. Interesting....I got less off for going into the dealership, and having the 1% off Factory Invoice (Chrysler Affiliates Rewards program) than if I would have purchased the vehicle online. Online rebates: $4,730.00 - My rebates for going into the dealership: $3750.00. Even after having a Dodge from Stew Hansen’s for the past 20 years, I will NOT purchase another vehicle from Stew Hansen's. I know that I am only one person. However, I will pass on my experience to others so they are informed before they think about walking in to this dealership. More

Extremely happy with my purchase, and the service I received Doug is a stand up guy. He's sold a few cars to members of my car club Modern Mopars of Iowa. He isn't extremely pushy like most salemen, and he'll tell you like it is rather than trying to put you into a bad situation. I had heard a lot of good things about Doug from other club members, and decided I'd give him a chance, and I'm glad that I did. Doug could've easily been frustrated with me as I flip flopped from looking at a Charger, then a RAM, and then back to a Charger. He stuck with me, and was patient with me while I made a decision that can be a very stressful one for a consumer. I particularly appreciated how Doug can talk to you like a friend, rather than reading off the company line like a robot. I ultimately looked at the car I wanted first at Dewey Dodge in Ankeny and I was paired with a greasy robotic salesman who was very pushy and wouldn't budge much on the price of the car. Doug and Stew's beat Dewey's prices, and they whooped them in the customer service department as well. I would recommend Doug to anyone. I hope to purchase any other vehicles from Doug in the future.
