My husband took the family to look at trucks. We went to Stingray Chevrolet, Coby, the salesman showed us several that fit the bill, but we knocked it down to two. One that was a taupe colored silverado and a white silverado that was a Demo. We decided on trying out the white silverado. Coby got the keys to the white silverado and water for the kids. While we were taking the truck for a ride, Coby was checking to see if we quailifed for a rebate for being an owner of a GM vehicle or something to that effect. The truck was a Demo and came with Rebates of interest to my husband that made the price a little more inviting. We took it for a short ride. The kids loved it. After the ride we went inside and Coby showed us all the information he had found out for us. We would get around $9,000.00 off the price of the truck. Couldn't ask for anything better than that! Well, guess what, it was a sale! Coby and the financial person were the best. All the paper work was taken care of and the truck was fueled and ready for us to ride. It was all in all a good day. We were shown only cars in our price range. The FIRST "deal" offered was the best they could do, no going back and forth to the manager to "crunch numbers." When we stated that we wanted to look at some other cars before making a purchase, Coby shook our hands and said call him if we decided on the Cobalt. There were no high pressure tactics. After being totally frustrated at other dealers, we came back and Coby made sure we had everything in the car that we wanted. We got a great deal with Chevrolet's 100,000 mile warranty, on our used vehicle and had a very pleasant experience. We highly recommend Stingray Chevrolet. More

I drove 70 miles to purchase a car I had seen online from salesman Jason Miller. They were very friendly until it came down to the financing deal. They wanted to take the first offer from the bank without even negotiating. Then they got rude with me when I was asking questions about the deal they had secured for me. Jason and his finance manager both frequently talked over me when they asked me questions that I had tried to answer. Jason acted like I had never purchased nor financed a car before. He started telling me how financing works. Then he says he's only been selling cars for 3 months. Just wanted to let you know I purchased a car from David Maus Chevrolet instead. My salesman was friendly the whole way through and they ended up getting me a really good deal. Of course, I didn't take the first one they secured for me and we finally got it where it needed to be. Your $99 dealer fee is great, but guess what? Constantly reminding customers that you have a $99 dealer fee so that you can treat them any way you want is not a good idea. More
I honestly had an extraordinary purchasing experience with Stingray Chevrolet. For this purchase I tried a bank-based internet search and negotiating program. Once I had selected the Tahoe model that I w with Stingray Chevrolet. For this purchase I tried a bank-based internet search and negotiating program. Once I had selected the Tahoe model that I wanted, I was given a choice between three dealers. I knew within the first 15 minutes after submission that I would be working with Stingray. Dana Monn immediately contacted me with a professionally written email, and, importantly, she began the dialog by including a sticker listing for one the vehicles they had on site. Very simply, it was apparent from the start that they wanted to do busy with me. In contrast, I didn't hear from one of the other dealers, incidentally the most expensive one, until after I had already purchased the Tahoe from Stingray, three weeks later! The bottom line was I was impressed from initial contact, and given the $99 dealer fee (the other two charged $500-$600) it was a no brainer to drive the 150+ miles to do business with Stingray. For the remainder of the purchasing experience I worked with Shannon Smith. Shannon was courteous and professional and answered all my questions via email and phone before my trip to the dealership. He also spent time to find the vehicle that I wanted, and he presented me with a fair price for my trade-in. Nevertheless, I left for the dealership to purchase the vehicle with a lot of trepidation. I still have hard feelings from the last Chevy I purchased in Texas. In this experience, the salesman presented a very hard sell throughout and in the end switched out the back bumper for a third party piece of junk. I missed the swap at the time, and they never may it right. I swore that I would never purchase another Chevy (I really liked the Tahoe though!). So I was expecting some hard back and forth at Stingray. With Shannon, not only did that not happen, it was never even and issue. The entire experience was completely professional and enjoyable. He was patient showing us all the features of the new Tahoes, and even had the car washed twice to make sure it was right before we left. Thank you for making it enjoyable, Shannon. Purchasing a vehicle should be. I have no hesitation recommending Shannon Smith and Stingray Chevrolet to my friends and family. Simply, if I was to run a dealership, this is how I would do it. More
