The business office was friendly and I did not feel like they were trying to trick me into buying some junk I didn't need, while at the same time doing a good job explaining what the services they offered would provide. I just bought a new Passat. Woooohooo! We researched the car and knew exactly what we wanted before even talking to anyone. By the time I called this dealer, I had already gotten the cheesy car salesman app car and knew exactly what we wanted before even talking to anyone. By the time I called this dealer, I had already gotten the cheesy car salesman approach from another dealership (that was closer to us) and ran before making a commitment. It just didn't feel right and I wanted to give my business to someone that deserved it. I was able to tell the new inventory on Stohlman's website and could see they had the exact car I wanted. I called and got transferred to Sean. He was helpful, straight-forward and knowledgeable. In that conversation, he was responsive (called me right back in a question I had), quoted a price that I knew was very reasonable and I knew he was the guy who deserved the sale. I filled out the application on-line, Sean pulled it and had the paperwork waiting for me when we got there. I just had to sign & drive! The car was detailed, gassed-up and waiting for me. My car buying experience here far exceeded my expectations. As my husband was out of town, I had to go by myself to buy the car. Even though I had done a great deal of research, I was hesitant to expectations. As my husband was out of town, I had to go by myself to buy the car. Stohlman's is owned by a woman and it really shows in their policies and great staff. I was lucky enough to get Randall Tomblin who put me instantly at ease, telling me all of the features of the car in which I was interested in detail and with enthusiasm. We took a short test drive, and came back to the dealership where I was quickly offered a very fair price. The rest of the transaction was quick and painless; everyone I dealt with was professional, friendly and extremely competent. I picked up the 2013 Subaru Outback a few days later and all of the accessories I had ordered had been installed correctly and the car was in flawless condition ( which has not been the case when purchasing new cars from other dealerships).
