We have both bought a couple cars in the past, so we were expecting the usual antics: the dealer pitches a number - usually nowhere near what they had originally quoted you - and then keeps going into the back room to "check with their supervisor." We hate the typical runaround and just wanted an honest offer on what our dream car would cost us. Chris quoted us a fantastic price through USAA's Car Buying service/TrueCar. He followed up with a very personable phone call, and we made an appointment to check out the car. When we showed up, we were very impressed with Chris' demonstration of the impressive EyeSight system. We already knew that we were crazy about this car, but wanted to see what it would really cost. Chris stayed true to his offer without any caveats or fine print. He even gave us the space to talk with each other on our own, in private. There was never any pressure along the way, and he was honest about the fact that USAA was giving us a better financing rate than Subaru could, and even encouraged us to go with our own bank. How often do you hear of that happening?! We quickly agreed on Chris' outstanding offer (he even threw in some generous extras that appealed to us!), and were off and running. Throughout the whole process, Chris was transparent, honest, personable, thorough, informative, and very, very friendly. We are already loyal to the Subaru brand, but will now recommend all of our friends to Chris at Stohlman Automotive to buy their next Subaru. The sting of buying a new car is definitely removed when you get to work with a dealer as transparent and helpful as Chris. Thank you, Chris!! More

No pressure, answered every question, responsive to our needs, worked with us on price and trade-in, got as much done in advance as he could so that we got everything done as quickly as one could possibly expect. Having dealt with many high-pressure, or at least somewhat tone-deaf, sales people in our past car-buying experiences, this was a great experience. Even if we hadn't come to an agreement, I still would have given Chris a good review just for his customer-relations style and skill. Also a kind word for David Jennings who managed our finance paperwork. Since we owned our trade outright, and were self-financing, it was a straightforward transaction, and David dealt with us in a friendly and efficient manner, getting things done quickly. More

Called them up from out of state to inquire about a Golf R. Alan Soon answered the call and was very upfront and honest about coming from out of state with a trade-in vehicle, which is uncommon. Having family in the car business and working in finance myself I was very familiar with the leasing process, and the leasing variables(residual, mf, etc). Nick Zahra the sales manager was willing to work with me over the phone to come to some numbers. Got to the dealership, nothing had changed, and I got a new car. Typically, if you're coming from far away you have little bargaining power. I feel confident that Stohlman treats all car buyers like I was treated, and would recommend them to anyone in the area, or even someone willing to drive a ridiculously long time to get there. More

Stohlman VW is a wonderful dealership! I purchased a 2016 Jetta on 4/26. This is the 5th VW that I have bought from Stohlman VW since 2004. This buying was especially enjoyable because of my salesperson-Javan Jackson. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He took me on 2 test drives and I was captured by my bright red Jetta TSI!! He synced my cell phone to the cars bluetooth (and my mp3 player, too!) He demonstrated all of the features including how to set up the navigation system and Sirius radio. I will recommend him and the dealership to anyone that will listen!! I LOVE STOHLMAN VOLKSWAGEN!! We took two test rides over the course of a week and when I decided to make the purchase he worked to help get me the best deal possible. I enthusiastically recommend you ask for Chris - he will answer your questions, give good advice, and get you the best deal possible. I financed my new Outback through Subaru. Chris La Porte introduced me to Heshim Kamal who explained the Subaru loan details to me as well as the different extended warranty packages. Again, Heshim and Stohlman presented the information and facts. Heshim answered my questions and explained the different options and what my monthly payments would be. He was extremely helpful and offered several ways to get the payment into my price point. Once I had decided on the price and level of extended warranty he quickly produced the paperwork and explained all of it to me. My recent car purchase from Stohlman was very positive and made me a big fan. Chris and Heshim were a pleasure to work with. Their excellent approach to informing the customer and friendly manner convinced me that I will take my Subaru to Stohlman for service checks.
