We highly recommend Subaru Sale Consultant, Allen Ngo . He’s a good listener, as well as professional, calm, knowledgeable, positive, polite and has a good sense of humor. We felt really comfortable. Allen helped us through the process of buying a new car, which ended up being the Subaru Outback, white with black interior. We had visited several car dealers in the Falls Church area and had done many test drives before visiting Stolhman Subaru and meeting Allen. We told him that we were interested in looking at the Subaru Forester. He showed us the car and explained all the features in great detail. He asked us to see and explore the car and while sitting inside the car, we asked a lot of questions and had a very good discussion. While listening to him, we took notice of the Subaru Outback in the show room. We asked him about the Outback, focusing especially on what kind of mileage it had. Allen then gave us lots of information about the differences between both cars. At first, we were thinking about buying the Subaru Forester. Instead, we ended up getting the Subaru Outback which was able to fit our needs better. Allen helped us through the long process of buying a car, and there was never any pressure to make a decision right away. He let us think carefully and always reminded us of our priorities when purchasing a new car. We were able to take our time doing research, and were able to test drive the car during the day and at night. Allen even helped us choose the color and interior of the car. Supposedly, an easy decision (not for us) Allen gave us examples of why choosing one interior or color would be more logical than another (e.g. we chose a white car so it would be more visible at night). Most importantly, Allen uses the right approach towards his customers so that they feel satisfied that they made the best decision when choosing a car. It has been enjoyable and so far he's been the best Consultant. Thank you! More

Allen Ngo made the process easy, locating and transferring the Forester I was looking for. During the purchase, he worked with me on the trade-in and got me set up in the new car. Hesham gave good advice on financing and made the process simple. Allen also set up the appointment to have a few options installed. The service team did a great job (Thanks Victor). I am looking forward to using Stohlman's service for future maintenance. More
Exactly what we were looking for! We were looking for an Outback for my wife and knew exactly what we wanted down to color and accessories. We also knew the price we wanted and knew it could be met. With the scarcity of Outbacks due to their.. .well, being just dang awesome, we decided to order. The main catch was that we had very little time and didn't want a "car sales" experience. The first dealer we went to (and had every intention of buying from) played with pricing, treated us like imbeciles, and didn't back their promise. We called around, visited a couple other dealers and only Al met our needs. We asked for no pitches, playing around, sales calls or messages... just meet our needs and the sale is done. He did exactly that. Al was very easy to work with, treated my wife properly, offered options without pushing us and made the process nice. It seems no one really enjoys dealing with the car buying process, but this experience changed my mind about how car buying can be. I definitely recommend working with Al! And ... for buyers out there... I recommend NOT treating Al like a "salesperson" because he will treat you like a professional and deserves the same. More

Can't say enough about him and the assistance he gave me, which didn't stop with the sale. He offered to go over all the features in my Forester XT, at a time that fit into my schedule. And welcomed me back when questions still remained. I've bought lots of cars over the years and have had mostly forgettable experiences or worse -- sort of like going to the dentist. David loves Subarus and wants you to feel the same way about your car. He works with you and tries to understand your situation. He wants to help, not pressure. He also knows how to sharpen his pencil and give you the deal you want.. When it comes time to get my next Subaru, I'll definitely go to David -- and I strongly recommend that you do the same. More

I called ahead to do a test drive and Neils greeted me as we came in on a busy rush hour afternoon. No pressure, just information given on the drive. I went home to think about what I wanted to buy with no pressure from Neils. I managed my negotiations via email and phone calls. We ordered the car. Neils touched base with me intermittently letting me know the status. The pick up day went smoothly -- unfortunately slow only because it was the last day of the month and it took a while to get into the finance office. Very pleased with the car buying experience. If you want a Subaru, ask for Neils. He is a gentleman and a breath of fresh air from the stereo typical car salesman. Thanks! More

Randall Tomblin and team made the shopping experience just wonderful! I had purchased my first Outback from Stohlman in late 2007, and when the time came to buy another, I contacted them and other area dealers expressing what I was shopping for. By being extremely responsive, not pushy, and providing the best price, they earned my business once more. Randall Tomblin knows the Outback inside out. He took me out on a test drive and showed me the features on the Outback. When I came to pick up the vehicle, he had it fueled and ready to go. He actually pointed out a rock chip in the paint - I had not noticed it - and asked me what I wanted to do. He offered to take care of it, provide a touch up kit and take some money off, or to order a new vehicle - no pressure either way. I appreciated that he wanted to make sure that I was happy! I said that it would be fine if they took care of it. Talking with finance and completing the purchase was quick and easy. I was offered options for an extended warranty and service plan, but again, no pressure - I appreciated that. Within half an hour, I was on my way home with my new car. A week later, after the snow had passed, I got a follow up call from Randall to take care of the rock chip. When I came in, he had a loaner Outback waiting for me. When I came back to pick up my Outback, I couldn't find where the rock chip had been - they did a perfect job with the touch up! I expect to keep this Outback for years to come, but I hope that when the time comes to replace it, that Randall is still at Stohlman to help me with the purchase of my next Subaru! More
