I emailed 3 car dealers, Stokes Honda, a Toyota dealer and a Hyundai dealer asking for an "out the door" price on a specific car found in the inventory on the website. Stokes was the only one that answered the question I asked. The others gave me list price...come on...no one pays list price for a vehicle any more and anyway I got that off the net!. We were treated very well. The only minor complaint I would have is that we had to wait quite some time for the car to be detailed, washed, the battery was dead and had to be replaced and whatever else you do. It would have been better had that been done before we came for the test drive. I do understand from your perspective that you can't clean up every vehicle that someone test drives but I had already agreed to the price and committed to buying the vehicle assuming inspection and test drive didn't turn up some major flaw. In all fairness, you only had short notice of the test drive. We agreed on the price and the test drive late in the afternoon and were at the dealership before 10 AM the next day so I am not really knocking you on that. Just saying if the vehicle had been ready to go. Us Yankees can be so impatient! Having said that, it was overall a pleasant experience. Best way to buy a car, in my opinion. Find it on the internet, get a good price, drive it, buy it, done! More
The salesman, Danny Kaye, was honest, direct, friendly, courteous, and professional. Dan O., the sales manager, was willing to work with our offers to make a reasonable deal, and a win-win situation. The overall sales attitude of customer service and satisfaction was better than other dealers in the Charleston area. Plus we like to support local, family owned businesses like Stokes Honda. So the above ratings are for the sales force. My business experience with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) manager (from Nigeria), was dissatisfactory, so the above ratings do NOT apply to him. He was personally friendly, but evasive about questions and deceptive about answers, and he was NOT willing to work to earn our business for financing or extended warranties, which I was definitely interested in (both). So I was not happy with the overall F&I experience. More

Good treatment, they worked hard trying to find the color we wanted (unsucessfully). But they did the best they could. Everything was great. Prince was really helpful. My time at the dealership was fairly fast. Once we decided on the deal it didn't take long at all. The saleman Ric was very professional, friendly and knew all about the Honda that I was getting. The price for the 30,000 mile check up on the car was a complete rip off and I didn't know any better and paid it. Even with the discount cleve gave me it was outrageous. Friendly and quick service. My appointment was at 9:30 and I walked out the door at 10:30. Received a check engine error which suggested an engine misfire.
