STAY AWAY FROM STRONG VOLKSWAGEN, ESPECIALLY USED CARS!! Bought a used Toyota 4Runner almost one year ago. To start , they sold it to us with a bad battery. Required a jump start to take on a test drive, and Bought a used Toyota 4Runner almost one year ago. To start , they sold it to us with a bad battery. Required a jump start to take on a test drive, and a jump for us to take home. First issue, was they let us drive it off the lot with a bad battery without offering to replace the battery before we did so. We were told to come back in the morning if the battery was bad and they would replace it. We showed up the next morning and they told us to go to local parts store and purchase a new battery and they would reimburse us. When we returned, the GM had the audacity to complain about the price of the battery we purchased. Second issue, 3 days after purchase a engine warning indicator light came on indicating a repair costing $800. When we notified the New and used car GM’s there was no sympathy nor willingness to help us with the cost of the repair. Issue three, 4 weeks after purchase, the radiator exploded resulting in the engine burning out, and a having a complete replacement of the engine. Again the new and used car GM’s showed any sympathy nor willingness to help in finding a solution for the lemon they sold us. The only help the used car GM provided was referring us to garage to replace the engine. So, $5000 dollars later on top off the cost of the car is where we ended up after all was said and done. Was the worst experience I’ve experienced in car purchases!! Worst customer service experiences ever. Will never purchase a car from strong Volkswagen again. Will and am sharing my experience with strong Volkswagen to every one I know looking into purchasing a new and used car. Would not and will never recommend you buy from them. They advertise certified used cars, but they aren’t, because if they were, they would have done more for us with the lemon they sold us!!! They don’t inspect their cars before they sell them. They take any car for trade and put it on their lot without making sure it is sale ready!! STAY AWAY FROM STRONG VOLKSWAGEN, ESPECIALLY THE USED CARS DEPT!! More
