Horrible Finance Department The sales team was pretty awesome, unfortunately the positivity ends there. The sales manager was not in a good mood and made the process take THE ENT The sales team was pretty awesome, unfortunately the positivity ends there. The sales manager was not in a good mood and made the process take THE ENTIRE DAY, to be over with, but that was fine, sometimes people aren't feeling it. Once our deal was set in place we headed over to the finance department where we were promised that our trade in would be paid off within 10 days, it took Subaru about 60 days to get the trade in car paid off, in that time our interest accumulated AND we had to keep paying our bank for a car we no longer owned to avoid damaging credit. Now Subaru Pacifics financing department is claiming it's the banks problem that we have more interest and they will not refund the interest we were forced to pay to the bank since SUBARU took TWO MONTHS TO PAY OFF THE CAR, how is that our problem? They want our bank to give us back the interest instead. I would say avoid this dealership, sad because as a said the sales as well as the service staff are great, just not worth the headache that comes with the finance department. We also never get calls back and have to go in to hear anything about the issue at which point our original finance me rep doesn't even get involved and we are given the run around. *UPDATE* Michelle agreed that the check amount needed to be adjusted to fit the interest that was charged due to their error. Yesterday Michelle, the finance manager, from what we've been told, told is that a check would be ready in two hours to come back and get it. We never got a call, we called to see if it was ready before we go pick it up , as the dealer has moved and is a long drive down the 405 in traffic now. Today we called again to check, no answer no call back no voicemails returned, called a few times and finally drove over there and waited to talk to Michelle for an hour while she sat in her office with no customers in front of her, (you can see into her office if you walk to the restroom) to find out that the check still hasn't been printed... They also will not give us the check until we go to Well Fargos main auto loan location and get a copy of the title release. Subaru pacific sold the car we traded in already and they haven't even got the title?!?! And how is it our responsibility to get a car that we haven't had in months that you already sold to someone else released?! If they didn't have a check to hold hostage how would they get the title released? We explained this to them and they said that just how it works that they have absolutely no way of getting it themselves, we have to do it as the customer. Once they saw is on the phone calling Subaru of America,they were quick to get a copy of the check to show us, in the correct amount I might add, and they will go ahead and get the title they say, as soon as it's cleared we can have the check... Magically... Also, when we asked the sales manager for the number for Subaru of America he wrote on a post it SOA and the number for Subarus finance department, surely in an effort to avoid having corporate be brought into the situation and having the issue reported. Once they get your money they really don't care.. Skip the headache... Go to Timmons, they are amazing and fix issues in a timely manner. More
