The Service Writer, Stacy, was absolutely wonderful. She did everything she could to make the experience as nice as possible given the circumstances. This is where the praise stops! I got this vehicle because of the safety record and everything positive I had heard about the brand. At time of purchase, I was notified that I will be able to have my 6 month, 12, month, 18 month, and 24 month services covered by the dealership. I thought that was great. All I would need to do is make an appointment, show up, and everything is taken care of. When I made the appointment, I was told I could not talk to a service writer and I have to go through scheduling. That's a first for me! I had to deal with the third-party scheduler. BIG problem. No way to get any notification of wait times, etc. The day of my appointment I showed up for a simple oil change EARLY. I was told that I had a 2 1/2 plus hour wait before my car would even be taken in. That's unacceptable. My wife was sick at home so I had to reschedule. I made another 1 hour round trip to just get the first oil change. When I arrived for the second appointment I asked the service writer if I could also get one small item fixed (volume for keyless entry that the owner manual says can ONLY be fixed by the DEALER). I was told I could not and would have to make a separate appointment because this one was only for the 6 months service and nothing more. I love the vehicle but the manner in which the Service Department schedules and operates deserves to get ZERO stars, but since that is not an option, I gave it 1. I would give Stacy 5 stars for just trying. She did nothing wrong. It was the system that failed me! Very disgruntled customer! More
