He had a great approach; he was willing to email me price quotes and didn't hassle me over and over again like many of the dealers I met with. It was refreshing to feel like I was engaging in the buying process and actually being listened to, rather than pushed and cornered into a sale, as many of the salesmen I dealt with at other dealers. Brent answered all my questions patiently and fully, and was pleasant to work with. I ran him through the wringer with my haggling and questioning, and I still didn't feel like he wanted to boot me out. Its a huge deal to me to have someone nice to work with during a major purchase such as this. He followed up after I bought the car, and again stopped over just to say hello and ask how I liked the car when I was in to get a couple accessories. The people at this dealership are friendly, and say hello and make you feel welcome when youre there. My other experience at Showcase Honda makes me really appreciate how refreshing a change this is when working with a dealership. To sum it up, this was a complete 180 degrees better than any other dealership I have been to. This was the third return visit for a problem I first noticed the day I got the car back from a 60K service. The car was low on power, which I suspected (and relayed to the service rep) was related to t noticed the day I got the car back from a 60K service. The third return was because the car dropped a cylinder on the highway (stopped firing, no physical damage). I spent 90 minutes waiting for a tow truck in the desert in 115+ degree heat, then an hour in a tow truck with no air conditioning, only to wait another 25 minutes at the dealership waiting to talk to a service rep (whom I had called to tell them I was coming in). I was provided with a nice, clean loaner car, which I greatly appreciated. The next day I was called to pick up the car, and was told the problem was a loose coil wire, which accounted for the power issue I had originally complained about but was apparently not checked until the computer complained about a misfire. When I picked up the car all I needed to do was drop off the loaner car keys, sign the service sheet, and leave. Instead I waited until the service rep got off the phone, only to be told I had to wait for another customer. A trip that should have taken two minutes took 25 minutes, most of it waiting. More
