This is a good dealership, like all Subaru shops I've used. I love the Subaru approach with focus on the environment and landfill use, to mention a few reasons why I'm on my 4th Outback. However, the estimate for my 60,000 mile PM, shocked me at over $1,700. Before starting I went over each check point using my maintenance manual. Several of the items were noted with an "I" for inspect: others were noted with "R" for replace. The two most expensive items, Differential and Transmission Flushes (valued at a total of $ 615) were noted with "I" for inspect. Those two items were not done based on the inspection by the service mechanic. No car owner would have been able to say whether or not those items needed to be done. I feel the decision to postpone those expensive replacements at this time reflects the professionalism of Subaru of Columbia. More
