Pointed out the pros and differences between them. We took a test drive in the Outback and I was hooked. I didn't even try the Forrester. It was that simple. The finances we a breeze and then, Sebastian took me out to the car and she showed me all the control systems and how everything worked. She was very thorough throughout the entire experience and very low key. I never felt like I was being pushed or crowded into a decision. All sales people should be like Sebastian Lewellan. More
Amazing Experience I was in the market for a new car. Having drive Hondas since 1991, I figured it was time for a change, time to experience something new. The Crosstr I was in the market for a new car. Having drive Hondas since 1991, I figured it was time for a change, time to experience something new. The Crosstrek caught my eye, so I included this in my test drives, and compared it with the Honda HR-V and CR-V. I dealt with Sebastian Lewallen, and she was a terrific sales associate, very knowledgeable. The test drive was an amazing experience, and she answered all the questions I had at the time. This was my first time driving an AWD vehicle. In the end, there was no comparison - the Crosstrek "fit" me, and although its price was more than those of the Hondas, I felt that the Crosstrek delivered outstanding value for the money. I only regret that I didn't get a Subaru years ago... I chose Subaru of Gwinnett for several reasons: 1) their online price quotes were less than those from the other Metro Atlanta dealers; 2) the dealership had good reviews for sales and service; and 3) it's close to home. When comparing my experience at Subaru vs. the Honda dealer I visited, there were several reasons why Subaru came out ahead: 1) the Honda sales associate didn't volunteer information about the vehicles during the test drives; 2) he never suggested that I try the AWD versions of the HR-V or the CR-V; and 3) he wanted to close a deal right away, but I told him I wanted to check out the Crosstrek first. All was good including trade in value plus retail cost of new car until the product specialist and sales person botched the deal due to a "misunderstanding" over remote engine start and remote start. Sales manager defended his employees as he should, but was very rude, pompous, and could have cared less to sell me the incoming 3.6. It was obvious in his tone that he was not interested in customer relations. Bought the vehicle in Boone, NC. No hassles, no wasted time, higher trade in, and totally courteous. Enough said... More
