He was supportive and enthusiastic, guiding us through what could have been an anxiety-evoking process. Instead, Lance made sure that we were constantly kept aware of the progress of our application, purchase and delivery of our new Subaru Impreza. There were no unforseen or unpleasant surprises. Lance handled everything superbly. We were not handed off to anyone else. He is the only one at the dealership that we dealt with. He was there when we submitted our first inquiry about the car and was on the phone when the car was delivered. We did not meet Mr. Willhite in person because he is in Georgia and we are in Connecticut. However, we felt that Lance was there with us at all times. He gave us a great deal on the new Impreza and had it delivered to our front door in impeccable condition. The same delivery truck picked up our trade-in for the trip back to Georgia. The new Impreza is everything we hoped for. It is flawless and was obviously examined by Mr. Willhite before it left Atlanta. On the day the car was delivered, Zora stepped out on the front porch, saw that beautful new Subaru and exclaimed, "That was as easy as ordering a pizza!" We are completely satisfied with the car that we purchased from Subaru of Gwinnett/Atlanta. And every time we talk about our car-buying experience, we will say something nice about Lance Willhite. I live in Ohio, Bought a used car on line from them. After a less-than-positive experience at a local Chevrolet dealership, my wife and I came to Subaru of Gwinnett to check out a new Outback. We test drove a new model, chose the color and trim in which we were most interested, then talked with our salesman Gary about price and interest rates. He was extremely straightforward with us, provided a price we were comfortable with, showed us our financing options clearly, and treated us with respect (all a refreshing change of pace from our experience earlier in the day at another dealership). All of the staff with whom we interacted were friendly, professional, and truly top-notch. It was far and away the best car-buying experience I have ever had. More
I bought a Forester in 2003 from Subaru of Gwinnett. My experience with them, both sales and service over the years has been totally positive. I bought another Forester today 10/22/11 because the car is awesome and the dealership is top notch. They gave me a price that beat Cars Direct, then gave a further discount for being a previous Subaru owner. Highly recommend this dealership. They made buying a new car as painless as possible. Jim was straight forward and honest. Jim Heet is a great salesperson and we are happy with our purchases! He helped my husband with his initial inquiries about new-v-used, based on his own job in outside sales, in which his mileage burns throu purchases! The next day or so Jim spent all day with us - first setting up my husband in a new Outback...then getting me set up in a new Forester. Third Subaru for my husband (his daughter is still driving his first, a 1999) and 1st for me; I'm very excited about making us an all-Subaru family! We really enjoyed working with Jim and frankly I hope he still works at the dealership in 5 years when Robert is ready for his next new Subaru :-) Also, my husband has made friends with Jill and Lisa, having been in a few times for service. He introduced me to them on this visit, and they were very friendly and fun in helping us pass the time during our long day at the dealership. They also both shared with me about the Forester and helped me decide to go for it. We also worked with Jen and another nice man (who's name I can't recall) in Financing. From what we can tell, everyone who works at this dealership is top-notch, and we are looking forward to getting all of our service done here going forward. Thanks! More
